Science fiction gives horror something the haunted house never had: the knowledge that nobody is coming, because the nearest help is light-years away and the station is running out of air. The games below cover the whole range, from pure stealth survival with one unkillable creature to action horror with a limb-cutting arsenal and slow philosophical dread that barely has monsters at all. Achievement lists in this corner of the genre usually reward finishing the story on higher difficulties and exploring every deck, so most of them are realistic completions.
