At Duff's (the weapon/gear shop) or the workshop, upgrade any piece of equipment once. Unmissable in the first hour.
Follow the story prompt that introduces ranged weapons underwater. Story-driven and unmissable.
An early story beat — repair and reopen Bancho Sushi with Cobra. Happens automatically as you progress the opening.
Cooksta is the restaurant-rating app. Serve customers and grow your follower count to hit Bronze — the first tier, reached just by running the restaurant a few nights.
When your health hits zero on a dive, mash the prompt / use a recovery to come back. Happens naturally the first time a dive goes badly.
In the menu screen, spend ingredients to upgrade (enhance) a dish's quality. Do it on 5 dishes total — they sell for more, so you'll want to anyway.
Sharks appear in the Blue Hole. Weaken one with your harpoon/weapons and finish it off. Sleeping/reef sharks are the easiest first catch.
New dishes unlock as you catch new ingredients and Bancho develops recipes. Just keep cooking and serving; 5 comes quickly.
A side request involving a friendly dolphin you meet on dives. Follow its quest prompt to completion.
Story progression unlocks deeper zones of the Blue Hole. Keep advancing the main story and you'll descend into the Deep Sea.
Every fish, material and crate you grab on dives counts. 100 accrues naturally over a few diving sessions.
Equip a melee weapon (knife, hammer, etc.) and harpoon small fish with it 20 times. Easy on weak reef fish.
A cumulative total across all your dives. You'll pass 300 just from supplying the restaurant each night.
In the restaurant's interior/decoration menu, purchase any decor item once.
Story progression reveals the Sea People village deep in the Blue Hole. Advance the main story to reach it.
Part of the mid-late story expansion into the icy zone. Keep following the main quest to unlock the Glacial Passage.
Craft/obtain the Sniper Rifle (a ranged weapon), equip it, and tag 10 fish with it. Great for distant or large targets.
Photo Spots are camera icons on dives (often tied to Duff or sea-creature requests). Use the camera at 10 of them.
At Duff's weapon shop, upgrade (enhance) a firearm three times. Pour materials into your main gun as you progress.
Keep growing your Cooksta followers by serving high-quality menus, decorating, and hitting nightly goals. Platinum is the tier above Gold.
Mima's is one of the branch/partner restaurants. Progress her associated questline to open it.
Hidden achievement. The name suggests eating ration/recovery food on dives a set number of times — keep using rations to recover health underwater and it should pop. We'll confirm the exact count and update this.
The icy biome unlocks through the main story. Keep advancing and you'll reach the cold Glacial Area.
Duwa's workshop (Sea People crafting) opens via the under-sea village storyline. Progress the Sea People quests to unlock it.
Complete Gumo's questline in the Sea People village to open the seaweed farm side-business.
Progress Momo's character storyline (the VIP/tech character) to its reveal. Comes from completing her associated events.
Finish the main story. The credits roll after the final story arc — keep pushing the main quest to the end.
Keep catching new ingredients and developing recipes with Bancho. 30 dishes researched takes a good chunk of the game — variety is key, so catch every new fish.
Once your main restaurant is thriving, the story lets you open a branch location. Progress the restaurant/Cooksta storyline to unlock it.
The rice field (Sea People farm) upgrades with materials/money. Keep investing until every plot is unlocked at max size.
Hidden achievement, likely for defeating the game's named creature/boss encounters. Work through the sea-creature requests and boss fights with upgraded weapons. We'll confirm the exact requirement and update this.
Same as the rice field but for vegetables — keep upgrading the garden until it's fully expanded.
An upgrade for the vegetable garden that auto-waters crops. Unlock and install sprinklers via the farm upgrade menu.
Blueprints come from boss drops, sea-creature requests, deep-sea finds and shops. Tracking down every one is a full-game hunt — use a blueprint checklist to find the ones you're missing.
The top Cooksta tier. Needs a large follower count: serve top-tier menus, fully decorate, hire and train staff, and consistently hit nightly targets over many in-game days.
Hidden boss achievement. The name points to an electric/eel-type boss in the Blue Hole — bring strong gear and dodge its charged attacks. We'll confirm the exact encounter and update this.
Hire staff for the restaurant and keep them working shifts; they gain levels over time. Getting one all the way to level 20 is a long grind — pick a favorite and keep them on rotation every night.
Murals are photo collectibles hidden around the under-sea village and surrounding areas. Use a mural-location guide and your camera to photograph every one.
There's a cat near the restaurant you can feed. Do it 20 times (typically once per day), so it accrues over many in-game days — make it a daily habit.
Sell scrap/materials to Duwa's workshop 200 times (cumulative). Offload junk materials there each time you surface and it adds up.
FishMon are special collectible creatures (a Pokédex-style side activity). Capture 5 of them — they appear in specific spots, so check the FishMon list for locations.
Hidden achievement (one of the rarest, ~4%). It's tied to a tough optional boss encounter — gear up with your best weapons and upgrades before attempting. We'll confirm the exact target and update this.
GYAO!s are the rare creatures you raise in the Sea People's fish farm. Raising 5 to maturity is a long-tail collectible task — gather their eggs/requirements across the game.
