Activate any bonfire (interact with a sword-in-fire). Achievement on first lighting.
Use an Ember (found in chests + NPC drops) at a bonfire. Becomes 'Host of Embers' — boosts max HP + allows summoning. Achievement on first use.
Tutorial boss. Phase 1 is slow combat. Phase 2 the worm form — keep moving, attack the head when it lunges.
Massive armored boss. Stay close (between his legs). His charge attacks miss if you're directly underneath.
Talk to Emma the High Priestess in Lothric Castle. Accept the Way of Blue covenant. Passive — Blue Sentinels are summoned when invaded.
Hit the white pustules on his belly. After several die, he collapses + transforms. Hit the eyeball in phase 2. Egg-Crawler add can interrupt.
Blue Sentinels covenant. Get summoned to defend invaded Way of Blue players. 30 successful defenses. Same as 'Master of Rings' — long endgame grind.
Magic boss spawning clones. Phase 2 he splits + summons phantoms. Focus the real one — clones don't take damage. Magic resist helps.
Three-Watcher fight: one starts hostile, then two more join. Then they fight each other while you damage all. Phase 2: single Watcher with flame sword. Stay close + circle-strafe.
Crowd of cultists. Find the one with the glowing red orb — kill him to advance to the next round. Repeat. Phase 2: Arch-deacon Royce + remaining deacons. AoE damage shines here.
Skeleton boss with three glowing bracelets. Attack each bracelet until they break. He dies when all three are destroyed. Stay out of dark mist; it deals heavy damage.
Equip the Warrior of Sunlight covenant. Place a summon sign. Get summoned to help others beat bosses. Each successful boss assist = 1 medal. 30 medals total. PvP-active server needed.
Two-handed swordsman. Phase 2 summons a clone (an aggressive doppelganger that attacks while you're focused on him). Roll through his combos. Bleed resist helps.
Auto-invade Farron Keep area when others enter. Kill invaders. Grass drops. 10 grass for rank 2.
Twin-blade dancer. Phase 1: slow blue-flame attacks. Phase 2: orange flame + faster combos. Long fight; conserve stamina. Strafe attacks instead of rolling backwards.
Use the Storm Ruler (found in the boss room itself). Spam Storm Ruler R2 attack at Yhorm. The intended kill is dramatically fast. Without Storm Ruler, the fight is brutal.
Slug-shaped boss firing magic arrows + tracking projectiles. Pillars in the arena block his ranged attacks. Phase 2 adds homing magic missiles. Use Black Knight Shield or similar magic resist.
Fire-based boss. Stay under his arms; his AoE flame attacks have a dead zone close to him. Phase 2 he becomes faster and adds homing fireballs.
Iconic shield-and-axe boss. Defensive playstyle. Phase 2 adds lightning attacks + Dragonslayer's flame breath. Aggressive boss; punish his shield bash.
Dragon-fused boss. Phase 1 is slow; phase 2 he becomes erratic. Stay close to his legs to avoid breath attacks. Watch his charge phase carefully.
From the Firelink Shrine, walk to a specific hidden passage. The Untended Graves is the post-death cinder version of the Cemetery. Find it for the achievement.
Pale Tongues come from killing invaders or finding rare drops. Offer enough tongues to Rosaria to rank up to maximum. Solo-achievable with farming.
Two-prince fight. Phase 1: Lorian's slow greatsword. Phase 2: Lothric revives Lorian — focus Lorian; if you kill him without killing Lothric first, Lothric revives him again. Kill them simultaneously or focus Lothric briefly first.
Harder version of Iudex Gundyr. No worm phase, no parry windows (the parry timing is tight). Phase 2 introduces fast combos + ground-pound. Hardest non-DLC pre-Nameless King fight.
Standard weapons reach +10 with Titanite Slabs (rare). Boss weapons reach +5 with Titanite Scales/Chunks. Save Titanite Slab for your primary weapon. Usually achieved by NG+ start.
Find the 'Path of the Dragon' gesture at Irithyll Dungeon. Travel back to Lothric Castle. Use the gesture at the corpses. Teleport to Archdragon Peak.
Not a real combat fight. Climb the ladder, drop down onto the wyvern's head from above. Plunging attack = instant kill. Cinematic.
## The fight
Phase 1: dragon mount with the King on top. Attack the dragon's head while dodging fire breath + dive attacks.
Phase 2: dismounted, spear + lightning attacks. Very fast, very punishing.
Hardest base-game boss alongside Champion Gundyr. Use Magic Resist + lightning resist. Bring estus + summon if needed.
Mound-makers invade. Get summoned/invade, kill someone (any side), drop Shackle. 10 shackles for rank 2. PvP-heavy.
Auto-invade Anor Londo. Kill invaders. Bone drops. Rank 2 requires multiple successful invasions.
Each Undead Bone Shard, when consumed at the Fire Keeper, upgrades your Estus capacity. 10 shards = max level. Achievement on max.
Anor Londo covenant. Auto-summons against sinners (players who killed friendly NPCs). 30 defenses. Notoriously slow because sinners are rare.
Estus Shards expand flask uses (HP/FP). 11 total in the game. Reach +10 reinforcement via Andre + Estus Shards.
Beat the Soul of Cinder + the dormant Lord of Cinder. Choose to link the First Flame. The 'canonical' ending.
Talk to the Fire Keeper. Give her the Eyes of a Fire Keeper (found in Untended Graves). At the final ending, summon her instead of linking. Mutually exclusive with Link the First Flame.
## Setup
1. Join Yuria's covenant (Hollow Logic dialogue)
2. Complete Anri of Astora's questline (kill her at the wedding)
3. Become Lord of Hollows
4. At the final ending, choose Usurpation
Most intricate ending to set up.
Andre needs Coals (4 special items) to unlock infusion types. Each Coal in a specific area. Infuse a weapon with each type (Heavy, Sharp, Refined, Crystal, Blessed, etc.). 9 types total.
~30+ sorceries from various NPCs (Orbeck of Vinheim primarily), vendors, and dropped scrolls. Some only available in specific NPC paths. Wiki tracker essential.
~25+ pyromancies from Cornyx of the Great Swamp + vendors + drops. Cornyx requires specific Tomes (Carthus, Quelana). Quest-locked.
~25+ miracles. From Irina of Carim primarily, plus drops. Irina's faith vs dark progression branches need careful quest navigation.
Gestures from NPCs + covenant joins + DLC. Some require specific quest paths. Wiki has the full gesture list + sources.
~100+ rings across base + DLC. Each NG cycle adds a +1, +2, +3 variant of certain rings. Requires NG+++ minimum for all variants. Multi-month completion.
Auto-completes. Needs 3-4 playthroughs minimum (one per ending) + DLC bosses.
