Altitude is Attitude
Exploration off the ground · 47.4% of players
Medium~Forest section
Climb to the highest point in the early forest area.

Early in the game, there's a tall tree. Climb to the very top using the platforming branches. Easy to miss if you sprint past — drop everything when you see the tree.

Wrong Way
That's not right · 32.9% of players
Easy~First seconds
Walk left (backwards) at the start of the game.

When the game begins, the boy can walk in either direction. Default progression is right. Walk LEFT instead for a few screens. Achievement pops on the deliberately-wrong direction.

Where Credit is Due
Perseverance has its own reward · 29.6% of players
Easy~Game ending
Watch the credits without skipping.

After the final scene, the credits roll. Don't skip. The achievement pops when credits finish naturally. Brief in LIMBO's case — under 5 minutes.

Alone in the Dark
Beneath the arthropod · 20.8% of players
Hard~Spider chapter
Pass under the giant spider without being noticed.

There's a specific moment where you can sneak BELOW the spider, between its legs. Time your movement during her pause-between-strikes. If she sees you, you die. Practice the timing.

Guided by Sparks
The crate is key · 15.9% of players
Hard~City chapter
Use sparks as light to navigate a dark section by pushing a crate.

Dark electrical area. Push the metal crate ahead of you so sparks from its dragging illuminate the path. Walking without the crate fails the achievement (and likely the puzzle too). Slow, steady push.

Backtracking
Ride the crates · 14.5% of players
Medium~Factory chapter
Ride a crate backwards through a section.

On a conveyor belt or moving platform, jump on a crate and ride it back the way you came. The game has at least one section where this is set up — easiest to spot when you see a crate moving against your travel direction.

Urban Exploration
Involves heavy lifting · 14.0% of players
Medium~City chapter
Investigate the city section by interacting with all the heavy crates.

Late in LIMBO, the boy reaches a city/factory area. Push every interactive crate you can find. The achievement tracks crate interactions; 5+ counts.

Under Ground
Vertical passageway · 9.7% of players
Hard~Exploration
Find a hidden underground passage.

Vertical passage hidden behind a breakable obstacle in mid-game. Look for terrain that seems passable. Pull a specific lever / break a specific crate to reveal the descent. Wiki has the location.

Going Up
Don't let gravity keep you down · 7.1% of players
Medium~Late game
Climb high in a gravity-defying section.

The gravity-warp section (towards the end of LIMBO) lets you walk on walls/ceilings. Navigate upward, breaking gravity orientation as the game allows. Find the top of the vertical corridor.

It's Stuck
Prepare a dry landing · 6.7% of players
Medium~Spider chapter
Trigger a specific stuck-mechanism puzzle in the spider area.

In the giant spider's lair, there's an interactive object that gets stuck mid-puzzle. The achievement triggers when you force it loose using a heavy object. Pull the rotating wheel until something jams.

Climbing the Cog
Don't pull the lever just because you can · 6.4% of players
Hard~Factory chapter
Climb the giant cog WITHOUT pulling the lever that activates it.

In the factory area, a massive cog has a lever next to it. Standard solution: pull lever, climb. Instead, climb manually via wall-jumping and momentum tricks. Achievement on the lever-free top-reach.

DING!
Hidden achievement4.4% of players
Very Hard~Full collection run
Find all the hidden eggs (collectibles) in the game.

## The eggs
10 hidden glowing eggs scattered through LIMBO. Each requires specific exploration off the main path.

## Strategy
- Look up at trees, behind crates, in hidden side paths
- Some require backtracking through puzzles you've already solved
- Wiki has the comprehensive map

Most-missed: the egg in the gravity-warp section's hidden upper corridor.

No Point in Dying
Complete the game in one sitting with five or less deaths · 2.4% of players
Very Hard~Skill run
Complete the game in a single sitting with 5 or fewer deaths.

## The challenge
LIMBO is famous for trial-and-error platforming. Most blind playthroughs die 30-50 times. 5 deaths max requires intimate knowledge.

## Strategy
- Play through once normally to learn every trap
- Replay aiming for sub-5 deaths
- Save your 5 'allowed' deaths for the spider chase + the gravity section finale

Single sitting = no quit-to-menu. The game tracks death count per run.
