Heavenly Dart Player
Rise to the top of the Seventh Heaven darts leaderboard. · 27.6% of players
Easy~15 minutes
Reach the top of the Seventh Heaven darts leaderboard.

Darts is in Seventh Heaven (Chapter 3, and replayable later). You need to beat the top leaderboard score. The reticle drifts in a figure-eight; learn its rhythm and throw when it crosses the triple-20 (or the highest-value wedge). Aim for triples consistently rather than bullseyes — the consistent high wedges build the score faster. A few rounds to read the drift pattern and you'll top it.

Sultan of Squat
Complete all squat challenges. · 24.0% of players
Medium~20–30 minutes
Win all three squat challenges against Jules in Wall Market.

The squat minigame is a rhythm/timing button sequence (▲ ● ✖ pattern shown on screen). Don't mash — read each prompt and press accurately; speed comes from clean inputs, not panic. Jules gets faster each tier. Practice the input rhythm on the easier opponents first. A reliable trick is to watch the icon and tap in a steady metronome rather than racing ahead and fumbling. Win all three difficulty tiers for the achievement.

Whack-a-Box Wunderkind
Complete all Hard difficulty Whack-a-Box challenges. · 12.8% of players
Hard~1–2 hours of practice
Complete every Hard-difficulty Whack-a-Box challenge (the Chapter 8/Wall Market box-smashing minigame).

Hard Whack-a-Box demands a high score under time pressure. Keys: use Cloud's Braver and especially area attacks to clear clustered boxes, prioritise the multiplier boxes (they chain your score), and never stop moving — dead time is lost points. Smash the special boxes that extend time the moment they appear. Learn the spawn pattern on repeated attempts; the layout is fixed, so memorising where high-value clusters appear lets you route efficiently. Triple/area hits on tight clusters are what push you over the Hard threshold. It's pure execution — expect several attempts.

Peeress of Pull-Ups
Complete all pull-up challenges. · 11.6% of players
Medium~20 minutes
Win all the pull-up challenges (Chapter 9, the gym in Wall Market) as Cloud.

Like squats, pull-ups are a timed button-prompt rhythm minigame. Accuracy over speed — every misfire stalls your count. Keep a steady tempo matching the on-screen prompts. The hardest tier is tight on time, so a few clean practice runs to internalise the rhythm pays off. Beat all tiers to complete it.

Game, Set, Master
Hidden achievement11.6% of players
Medium~2–3 hours
Beat every Fort Condor opponent in INTERmission (the Yuffie DLC board-game minigame).

Fort Condor is a lane-defence board game in the Yuffie DLC. Build a balanced board: a mix of Vanguard (cheap melee blockers), Ranged (deal damage from the back), and Defense (towers) units, and match your loadout to each opponent's army. Upgrade your board pieces by buying better units between matches. Against aggressive opponents, lead with cheap Vanguard to stall while Ranged whittles their towers; against turtling opponents, push with high-damage units down one lane. Beat every ranked opponent across Wall Market and beyond to complete the set — losses don't penalise you, so retry with an adjusted board.

Building Character
Attain level 50 with a character. · 10.9% of players
Easy~Natural by end of Hard, or some farming
Reach level 50 with any one character (the cap on first clear / 50 base).

You'll approach 50 just by completing the story plus Hard mode. To speed it, farm the Chapter 17 Shinra Combat Simulator battles or the Chapter 16/17 enemy-dense areas, and equip EXP-boosting setups. Keep one character (usually Cloud) always in the active party so they soak the most EXP. By the time you've done Hard mode you'll almost certainly have a level-50 character.

Biker Boy
Get praised by Jessie at the end of the motorcycle mini-game. · 7.2% of players
Easy~10 minutes
Get praised by Jessie at the end of the Chapter 4 motorcycle minigame.

During the bike chase you're scored on how well you fight off enemies and avoid taking damage. To earn Jessie's praise, destroy the attacking riders (especially before they slash you), block/counter the larger enemies, and reach the end with high performance and health. If you take too much damage you'll get a lukewarm comment instead — replay the chapter section and play more aggressively against the riders while dodging their attacks.

Intelligence Agent
Complete all battle intel reports. · 5.8% of players
Medium~Across the playthrough
Complete all of Chadley's Battle Intel Reports.

Chadley gives 20 Battle Intel challenges (assess enemies, perform staggers, use specific abilities/magic, defeat summons in his VR sims, etc.). Some require materia/abilities you only get later, and a few need his VR summon battles (which unlock as you assess enough enemies). Equip the Assess materia early and assess every new enemy type — that alone clears several reports and unlocks the rest. Save the combat-heavy ones (defeat summons, MP/ATB usage challenges) for when your party is stronger. Completing all 20 also nets you strong materia rewards.

Disc Jockey
Collect all music discs. · 5.3% of players
Medium~Across the playthrough + chapter select cleanup
Collect all 31 music discs.

Music discs are scattered in shops (buy from vendors), found in the world, and a few are quest/minigame rewards. Many are missable per chapter, so the practical approach is to grab what you can naturally, then use Chapter Select after finishing the story to mop up the ones you missed — a checklist by chapter is essential since some only appear during specific chapters (e.g., discs sold in Wall Market, the one from the Corneo vault, etc.). Cross off each disc as you collect it; the jukebox in Seventh Heaven tracks what you own.

Staggering Feat
Deal 300% damage to a staggered enemy. · 4.7% of players
Medium~Mid-game once you have the right materia
Deal 300% damage to a staggered enemy (push the stagger bonus from 160% up to 300%).

When you stagger an enemy the damage bonus starts at 160%. To reach 300% you need to raise it during the stagger window. The cleanest method: equip the Tifa-centric setup — her unique abilities (Unbridled Strength → Omnistrike, and especially the 'Whole New World' / focused strikes) raise the stagger %, and the Pummel/Starshower chain pumps it fast. Alternatively, the ASSESS-then-exploit-weakness route plus 'Focused Thrust' (Cloud) and 'Maximum Fury' raises it steadily. Easiest target: a training dummy isn't available, so use a tough single enemy or boss. Stagger it, immediately use Tifa's stagger-boosting abilities to drive the gauge past 300%, then check the number. Pressuring with weakness hits before the stagger also helps the multiplier climb.

Best in the Business
Complete all quests. · 4.0% of players
Medium~Across the playthrough
Complete every side quest in the game.

Side quests appear in the explorable hub chapters (3, 8, 9, 14). Crucially, several are time-limited within their chapter and CANNOT be revisited mid-chapter — so do every available quest before triggering the story point that ends that chapter's free-roam. Chapter 14 in particular branches Tifa/Aerith content. Use Chapter Select after the story if you missed any, but it's far less painful to clear them as you go. Talk to every NPC with a quest marker before advancing the main story in each hub chapter.

Ultimate Weapon

Very Hard~Endgame, after gearing up
Beat the Pride and Joy Prototype — the superboss in the Shinra Combat Simulator's 'Three-Person Team vs. Top Secrets' challenge (Hard).

This is the hardest fight in the base game, in the Chapter 17 Combat Simulator. You need a fully optimised endgame build: maxed materia (Magnify + Barrier/Healing, Elemental + the right element on weapons/armour, ATB Assist/ATB Boost, Steadfast Block, MP Absorption), and a plan for its phases — it shifts elemental affinities and unleashes huge attacks. Keep Barrier/MBarrier up at all times, exploit its current weakness to stagger, and burst it during stagger with Tifa/limit breaks. Bring Refocus (ATB) and HP-up. It's a gear-and-execution check — come back once your materia is leveled and you've finished Hard.

Hardened Veteran
Complete all chapters of the main story on Hard difficulty. · 3.2% of players
Very Hard~20–30 hours (a second playthrough)
Complete every chapter of the main story on Hard difficulty.

Hard unlocks after one full clear and is a serious step up: no items in battle (potions/phoenix downs are off — you rely entirely on healing magic and MP), enemies hit much harder, and MP barely regenerates outside benches. Strategy: spec for MP efficiency and healing (Prayer materia for MP-free heals, Magnify+Healing, Chakra/Pray, First Strike/ATB-boosting setups), rest at every bench, and lean on Assess to exploit weaknesses so fights end before your MP runs dry. Do chapters in order via Chapter Select; you keep your levels, materia, and gear from your first run, so grind a bit first. The boss gauntlets (Hell House, Eligor, the final chapters) are the walls — bring elemental counters and parry/dodge discipline.

Master of Mimicry
Learn all enemy skills. · 2.9% of players
Medium~1 hour of targeted farming
Learn all four Enemy Skills with the Enemy Skill materia.

You need the Enemy Skill materia (a Chapter 9 Corneo Colosseum reward / found in the Sewers area). Then you must be HIT by four specific enemy abilities while wearing it: Algid Aura (Cerulean Drake), Spirit Siphon (in the train graveyard / from a Phantom), Self-Destruct (Smogger / Sweeper enemies that explode), and Bad Breath (Malboro-type, found in the Shinra Combat Simulator VR challenges). Equip Enemy Skill on one character, deliberately let that enemy land the move on you, and it's learned. The Malboro/Bad Breath one is the fiddly one — fight the relevant VR battle and survive long enough to eat a Bad Breath. Chapter Select makes farming the specific enemies easy.

The Road to Revenge
Complete both chapters of INTERmission on Hard difficulty. · 2.6% of players
Very Hard~5–8 hours
Complete both chapters of INTERmission (the Yuffie DLC) on Hard difficulty.

INTERmission Hard has the same no-items rule. Yuffie's kit is strong: alternate her Ninjutsu element to hit weaknesses, use Banishment/Doppelganger for big burst, and Synergy with Sonon to build ATB and share buffs. The Scarlet/Crimson Mare boss and the Weiss superboss-adjacent fights are the tough spots — keep elemental Ninjutsu matched to weaknesses and maintain Synergy for the damage and the shared healing. Level Yuffie and her materia on Normal first, then run Hard via chapter select.
