"Collect an archive log" Archive logs are mostly found on computer terminals, with some on audio recorders, scattered around the station. Interact with the first one you come across and this unlocks. Collectible progress counts toward Voices of Sevastopol.
"Complete the first mission" Unlocks automatically when you complete mission 1 of the campaign on any difficulty. It cannot be missed on a normal playthrough.
"Collect an ID tag" ID tags are small collectibles found around the station. Grab the first one you see; there are 50 in total for The Taken, and your progress is tracked in the in-game menu.
"Construct an item" Once you have a blueprint and the components for it, open the crafting menu and build anything. The game introduces crafting early in the campaign, so this comes naturally.
"Complete the second mission" Unlocks automatically when you complete mission 2 of the campaign on any difficulty. It cannot be missed on a normal playthrough.
"Encounter the Alien in Sevastopol for the first time" Unlocks during the campaign the first time you encounter the Alien on Sevastopol. Just keep playing the story.
"Complete the third mission" Unlocks automatically when you complete mission 3 of the campaign on any difficulty. It cannot be missed on a normal playthrough.
"Use the revolver" As soon as the revolver is in your inventory, equip it and fire a single shot. Do it somewhere safe — gunfire makes noise that attracts threats.
"Use the vent system 20 times" Vents are one of your main stealth routes, so this usually unlocks naturally over the campaign. If you want to speed it up, crawl in and out of the same vent a few times in a quiet area; PlatGet notes it pops on the 20th vent entry.
"Kill an Android" Androids take a lot of punishment. One method PlatGet verified is the maintenance jack approach described under My Turn Now (repeated strikes from behind, retreating between hits), which earns this at the same time. For other weapon methods, the exact trigger is not verified — see a community guide.
"Escape from android combat without taking damage" Community guides (PlatGet) point to mission 4: in the control room you can let the android spot you and retreat into a vent, or drop an EMP mine between you and it. Killing the android is allowed, but taking any damage voids the attempt — reload a save and retry if you get hit.
"Complete the fourth mission" Unlocks automatically when you complete mission 4 of the campaign on any difficulty. It cannot be missed on a normal playthrough.
"Access 10 different rewire points" Rewire stations let you redirect power to systems like lights, cameras, air purge, or doors. Use ten different rewire points across the campaign; it counts distinct locations, so revisiting the same one does not help.
"Complete the fifth mission" Unlocks automatically when you complete mission 5 of the campaign on any difficulty. It cannot be missed on a normal playthrough.
"Use the flamethrower" PlatGet's guide says you get the flamethrower in mission 10. Equip it and fire once to unlock this.
"Cause the Alien to retreat by using the flamethrower" Once you have the flamethrower (mission 10, per PlatGet), aim it directly at the Alien while firing until it retreats. Fuel is limited, so community guides suggest saving first and reloading afterwards, or doing it during cleanup with Mission Select.
"Knock down a human or stun an android with a non-lethal attack" A stun baton hit on a human or android, or other non-lethal tools, will do it. Stunning humans does not count as killing them, so this is safe for Mercy or Prudence?.
"Use the stun baton" Equip the stun baton when you get it and use it once — swinging at an android or human is the safest way to make sure it registers.
"Complete the sixth mission" Unlocks automatically when you complete mission 6 of the campaign on any difficulty. It cannot be missed on a normal playthrough.
"Perform 10 successful hacks" Successfully complete 10 hacks with the Security Access Tuner on locked doors and panels. This normally comes naturally as you progress and explore.
"Complete the seventh mission" Unlocks automatically when you complete mission 7 of the campaign on any difficulty. It cannot be missed on a normal playthrough.
"Detect 30 targets with the motion tracker" Keep the motion tracker out while exploring; it registers humans, androids and the Alien moving nearby. Thirty detections usually accumulate over the campaign without any special effort.
Steam hides this achievement's description. Story-related: GameRevolution's achievement list gives the description "Turn off the beacon", and PlatGet confirms it is a story achievement you cannot miss. The exact mission was not verified, so avoid spoilers by just playing on.
"Use the shotgun" Equip the shotgun after you pick it up and fire once. It is loud, so do it where you will not draw the Alien.
"Complete the tenth mission" Unlocks automatically when you complete mission 10 of the campaign on any difficulty. It cannot be missed on a normal playthrough.
"Kill 10 humans" Kill ten hostile humans over any number of saves. This directly conflicts with Mercy or Prudence? (no human kills), so community guides recommend getting this on a different playthrough or via Mission Select after your no-kill run.
"Complete the eleventh mission" Unlocks automatically when you complete mission 11 of the campaign on any difficulty. It cannot be missed on a normal playthrough.
"Complete the twelfth mission" Unlocks automatically when you complete mission 12 of the campaign on any difficulty. It cannot be missed on a normal playthrough.
"Complete the thirteenth mission" Unlocks automatically when you complete mission 13 of the campaign on any difficulty. It cannot be missed on a normal playthrough.
"Use the bolt gun" Once the bolt gun is in your inventory, equip it and fire it once.
"Complete 10 minigames successfully" Successfully complete ten of the game's minigames. Which device puzzles count toward the total is not verified — see a community guide — but it should come naturally with normal play.
Steam hides this achievement's description. Story-related: GameRevolution lists it as "Complete the fourteenth mission" and Stevivor's list ties it to the mission "The Descent". It unlocks with normal story progress.
Steam hides this achievement's description. Story-related: GameRevolution lists it as "Complete the fifteenth mission" and Stevivor's list ties it to the mission "The Message". It unlocks with normal story progress.
Steam hides this achievement's description. Story-related: GameRevolution lists it as "Complete the sixteenth mission" and Stevivor's list ties it to the mission "Transmission". It unlocks with normal story progress.
"Complete the game on any difficulty setting" Unlocks at the end of the campaign on any difficulty, so it will come with your first completion.
"Complete the seventeenth mission" Unlocks automatically when you complete mission 17 of the campaign on any difficulty. It cannot be missed on a normal playthrough.
"Complete the eighteenth mission" Unlocks automatically when you complete mission 18 of the campaign on any difficulty. It cannot be missed on a normal playthrough.
"Collect 100 archive logs" PlatGet's guide notes there are 150 archive logs in total, so you only need 100. Most are on terminals and some on audio recorders. Progress persists through deaths, reloads and Mission Select, so check terminals as you go and clean up the rest afterwards.
"Construct one of each craftable item" PlatGet lists seven craftable items: Medkit, Noisemaker, Flashbang, Smoke Bomb, EMP Mine, Pipe Bomb and Molotov. You need the blueprint for each, which you find around the station. PlatGet notes blueprints do not carry between saves, so do it within one run and craft each item as soon as you can.
"Cause the Alien to retreat using a molotov" You need a Molotov blueprint first. Craft one, then throw it so it hits the Alien and makes it retreat. Saving beforehand lets you reload if it goes wrong.
"Kill an android using only the maintenance jack" PlatGet recommends mission 4: sneak up behind an unaware android and strike with the maintenance jack. It will not die in one hit, even on Novice, so retreat into a vent and return to strike again until it goes down. Attacking from the front makes it block. Don't damage it with anything else.
Steam hides this achievement's description. GameRevolution gives the description "Complete the fifth mission without being killed by the Alien". PlatGet says it pops in the elevator at the end, and that being grabbed is fine if you reload before the save icon appears. You can also retry with Mission Select.
"Complete the game on the hardest difficulty setting" Nightmare is the game's highest difficulty, but TrueAchievements, PlatGet and a Steam community thread all report that this unlocks on Hard as well, so Nightmare is optional. Select the difficulty when you start a new game; a TrueAchievements commenter who switched an existing save to Hard reported it did not count. Lower difficulties do not appear to count.
"Contact your team and escape Comms without being attacked by an android" PlatGet places this in mission 4. You can be spotted, but no android may attack you before you escape. Use vents and distractions; it pops at the elevator. If you get hit, reload or replay the mission with Mission Select (on Novice if you like).
"Navigate Reactor Maintenance without dying" PlatGet places this in mission 14. Any death in Reactor Maintenance voids the attempt, so play slowly and quietly. If you die, retry the mission via Mission Select.
Steam hides this achievement's description. GameRevolution gives the description "Get killed by the Alien 100 times", and PlatGet confirms it. Deaths accumulate naturally, and you can farm the rest: save near the Alien, make noise to draw it in, die and reload. Don't do it on a run where you're going for One Shot.
"Complete the game without killing any humans" Only kills you make count. PlatGet notes that luring the Alien to humans, letting androids or other NPCs kill them, and stunning humans are all allowed. It pops at the end of the final mission. Community guides suggest pairing it with your Hard run, and leaving Self Defense for a separate run or Mission Select.
"Collect 10 Nostromo logs in the main campaign" Nostromo logs are a separate collectible from archive logs. TrueAchievements and Prima Games both say several need upgraded tools (upgraded Ion Torch, Security Access Tuner upgrades, gas mask), so most guides advise a cleanup sweep in mission 16, where you have the tools and can move freely around the station. The two sources list the logs under different missions, so follow a community guide for exact locations.
"Collect all ID tags" There are 50 ID tags in total (per PlatGet). Progress persists through deaths, reloads and Mission Select, and you can check which ones you have in the menu. Follow a community collectible guide for locations and clean up any you missed with Mission Select.
Steam hides this achievement's description. GameRevolution and Stevivor both give it as completing the game without dying. PlatGet suggests doing it on Novice and pausing to load the current save right after a death, before the autosave icon appears (load the previous save if it has already appeared). Treat that as a community workaround — exact behaviour not independently verified.
