Unlocked automatically near the start when Juan dons the Luchador mask and gains his fighting powers. Unmissable story progression — just keep playing the opening.
Combo Chicken Challenges are optional combat rooms found through the world. Enter one and clear its objective to earn this. Your first available challenge appears early — accept it and finish the required combo/kill goal.
In one of the combat arenas, defeat every wave without being hit once. Prioritise dodging (roll/dash) over aggression, use dodge-cancels to reposition, and pick an arena you already know the wave patterns of. Practising the same arena repeatedly is the reliable path.
The Alebrije is a boss encountered during the campaign. Defeat it to progress. Learn its attack tells and punish the openings after its telegraphed moves.
Uay Chivo teaches you the INTENSO meter mechanic. Complete his training sequence when the story directs you to him. Follow the on-screen prompts to finish the lesson.
Skeleton Luchadores are standard enemies in the world of the dead. Defeat one in normal combat — you will encounter and beat these naturally as you play, so this unlocks early.
INTENSO is your powered-up state (filled by landing hits/combos). Trigger INTENSO in a room packed with weak enemies and rack up 20 kills before the meter runs out. A dense enemy arena or combat challenge is the best place to farm this.
You gain the chicken transformation as a story ability. Once unlocked, activate the chicken form to earn this. Unmissable — it is a required traversal power.
X'tabay is a boss/character resolved during the campaign. Reach and complete her encounter to redeem her and unlock this as you follow the main quest.
In the Tule Tree area there is a fake statue of Uay Chivo. Attack and destroy it to trigger this. If you do not see it, revisit the Tule Tree and look for a breakable statue matching Uay Chivo.
Flame Face is a boss in the campaign. Defeat it to progress. Watch for its fire attacks and strike between them.
Build a single unbroken combo of 125 hits. Use a combat arena or a room with many enemies, weave dodges to reset spacing without dropping the counter, and mix light attacks, throws and special moves. Dimension-swap and uppercut juggles help keep enemies airborne.
El Trio de la Muerte is a multi-part boss fight. Defeat all of them to clear the encounter. Manage the group by dealing with them in turn and using dodges to avoid being surrounded.
Fully explore one area and collect every hidden chest/item it contains (the area map tracks your collection percentage). Use your dimension-swap and traversal abilities to reach concealed rooms; return after gaining new powers if some are still locked.
Jaguar Javier is one of the game's main bosses. Defeat him during the campaign. Dodge his charge attacks and counter after he lunges.
Locate one of the collectible orbs hidden in the world and pick it up. Explore off the main path and break suspicious walls/objects — you will usually find your first orb without much effort.
From the main menu, begin a new game on the second save slot. Purely a menu action — start a fresh file in slot 2 to unlock it.
Calaca is the game's final boss. Defeat him to complete the main story. Learn his phase transitions and use dodges through his large attacks, punishing the recovery windows.
Spend coins at the in-game shops to buy 20 upgrades total (health/stamina boosts, moves, etc.). Collect money from enemies and chests as you explore, and buy upgrades whenever you can afford them until you reach 20.
An extended version of Combo Nerd — keep a single combo going for 200 hits. Use a crowded arena, keep enemies juggled with uppercuts and dimension-swaps, and dodge-cancel to avoid dropping the chain. Expect several attempts.
Finish the full Combo Chicken questline (the series of Combo Chicken Challenges). Work through each challenge you find until the quest is marked complete.
Find a Chupacabra enemy and kill it using only your ground-slam (Slam) move — no other attacks landing the finishing damage. Weaken it with slams alone; avoid mixing in other moves so the kill counts.
Requires the Diablo's Suit costume equipped and finishing the Calaca boss fight without losing any health. Play defensively — dodge everything, only attacking during safe windows — so you reach the kill with a full health bar.
This achievement is hidden and its trigger is not shown in the Steam description. It is tied to the game's fuller completion / true-ending path — trigger not verified here, so check a community guide for the exact requirement before going for it.
Use the Pollo Bomb ability (a chicken-form attack) to land the killing blow on an enemy. Once you have the Pollo Bomb, drop it on a weakened foe to secure the kill.
Finish every optional side quest in the game. Talk to NPCs, track down their objectives, and clear the Combo Chicken and other optional content. Doing a cleanup pass late in the game, once you have all traversal powers, makes the remaining quests reachable.
Infierno challenges are the game's hard optional combat/platforming trials. Earn at least a Bronze medal in every one. Bronze is the lowest tier, so meeting the minimum score/time in each challenge is enough.
The hardest achievement in the game — earn a Gold medal in every Infierno challenge. This demands near-perfect execution of combat and platforming trials. Learn each challenge's optimal route/combo and retry until you hit the Gold threshold.
Reach 100% collection in every area of the map (all chests and hidden items). Return to earlier zones after unlocking new traversal abilities to reach previously blocked collectibles, and use the per-area completion percentage to see what you are missing.
Complete a full playthrough on Hard difficulty. Enemies hit harder and take more punishment, so lean on dodging, keep upgrades current, and use INTENSO and special moves to control fights. A second run after learning the game is the usual approach.
