Euro Truck Simulator 2 — Achievement Walkthrough
106 achievement guides · Full game page →
When you arrive at a delivery point the game offers to park the trailer for you. Take that option once and the achievement pops.
If you normally park manually, just accept the auto-park prompt on any single delivery to get it out of the way early — it costs you a little XP on that one job and nothing else.
Pull into any fuel station and refuel. Stations are marked on the map and along most motorways.
This happens naturally within your first hour or two of driving, so there is nothing to plan for.
Stop at a rest area and use the sleep option. Rest stops are signposted on the motorway network and shown on the map.
Your driver's fatigue timer will force you into one before long anyway, so this unlocks on its own during normal play.
Drive onto a ferry and take the crossing. Ferry terminals appear as port icons on the map — routing a delivery across a sea crossing will send you to one automatically.
Any sea ferry counts for this one; the separate Ferryman achievement specifically wants a river ferry instead.
Rather than driving to a dealership, use the online truck purchase option from your management screens and buy a truck remotely.
You need the cash (or the loan) for a truck first, so this typically comes a few hours in once you are ready for your first or second vehicle.
Take the Channel Tunnel rail shuttle between Britain and France instead of a ferry. Route any job between the UK and mainland Europe and pick the tunnel crossing when the option appears.
The description is strict on all three counts at once: five consecutive jobs delivered in time, with zero damage to the cargo, and without using automatic parking.
Practical approach: take short, easy runs on motorways so there is less to go wrong, park manually every time (take it slowly — a scrape counts as damage), and do not accept a job whose timer you might miss. Breaking any one condition resets the streak, so do the five back to back with nothing else in between.
Cumulative and unmissable over time — you simply need to have hauled for 15 distinct companies. The job board shows the source company for each offer.
To speed it up, deliberately pick jobs from company names you have not used yet rather than repeating the same profitable route.
Use the quick travel option to return to your HQ city. Available from the map/management screens once you have a headquarters.
Garages come in sizes and can be upgraded with money. You need at least one garage at the maximum size, located in the same country as your headquarters.
This is purely a money goal — buy a garage at home, then keep upgrading it as your bank balance allows. Running profitable long hauls or hiring drivers to earn passively is the usual route.
Cumulative across your career: 30 distinct cargoes, not 30 jobs. The job board lists the cargo name on every offer.
Work through the board picking cargo names you have not carried yet. Freight market jobs from a wide spread of company types (food, chemicals, machinery, construction) will fill the list far faster than repeating the same lane.
One single job of at least 1,000 km delivered with no damage, no fines and inside the time limit.
Pick the distance first from the freight market, then drive it carefully: stay under speed limits so you avoid fines, rest before the fatigue penalty hits, and take the parking slowly at the end. The length is the easy part; the clean run is what needs attention.
Visit a truck shop or your garage's customisation screen, design a paint job that uses more than one colour with the metallic finish, and apply it to your truck.
Strictly cosmetic and cheap — the description asks specifically for multi-color and metallic, so make sure both boxes are ticked before you confirm.
Requires the Scandinavia DLC. Route any journey between Copenhagen (Denmark) and Malmo (Sweden) and take the bridge crossing.
A free-roam drive between the two cities is enough; you do not need a job on the route.
Sort the freight market by distance and take the longest job you can find — you need one that exceeds 2,000 km. Owning DLC map regions gives you far longer possible routes, since the base map is smaller.
Unlike the perfect-delivery achievements this one only cares about the distance, so damage and lateness do not block it.
The description asks for XP efficiency: 20,000 XP over a run of consecutive jobs whose combined distance stays below 10,000 km.
That means maximising XP per kilometre rather than driving far. XP in ETS2 comes from skills and job bonuses (ADR, long distance, fragile, high-value and similar), so unlock the XP-boosting driver skills first and then take short jobs that carry as many bonus tags as possible. Exact XP formulas are not stated in the description — treat any specific per-job numbers you see elsewhere as unverified and just aim for the highest-bonus short jobs available.
A late-game economy target. Average daily profit is tracked on your company statistics screen, so this is about scaling the business rather than driving.
The route is the standard one: buy garages, upgrade them to the largest size, hire drivers, assign them good trucks and let their income accumulate. Your own deliveries contribute but hired drivers are what push the daily average this high.
The description names them explicitly: Machinery, ADR cargo, Container, Refrigerated, Liquid cargo, Fragile cargo, Construction and Bulk cargo. You need at least one delivery of each.
ADR (hazardous) jobs need the ADR skill unlocked before they appear, so put driver points into ADR early or this one stalls. The rest appear on the freight market as you scan job offers — check the trailer type on each offer rather than the cargo name.
The description counts sea ports, river ports and train ports, so any five distinct port locations qualify. Ports show as their own icons on the map.
Deliveries to or from port companies count, and so does simply using the crossing at a ferry or rail terminal.
Requires the Special Transport DLC. Special Transport jobs appear as their own job type with fixed escorted routes — take any one and complete it.
These runs are slow and closely supervised (police escort, speed restrictions), so allow real time for even a short one.
Cumulative road discovery, tracked in your profile statistics. Roads count the first time you drive them, so repeating the same lane adds nothing.
The fastest way is to keep taking jobs into cities and regions you have not visited yet rather than farming one profitable route. Owning map DLC gives you far more unique road to find.
Requires the Heavy Cargo Pack DLC. Once installed, heavy cargoes appear in the freight market and at your own trailer selection — take one job and deliver it.
These trailers are much heavier than standard freight, so expect slower acceleration and longer braking distances.
When you arrive, the game offers different parking options; the harder one requires reversing the trailer into the bay. Choose that option and complete the park yourself, 20 times.
Cumulative across your career, so just get into the habit of always picking the difficult park. Auto-parking on any of these will not count toward the total.
Both conditions have to be met by the same job: the payout above EUR 130,000 and the distance at least 2,200 km.
High-value cargo on a very long cross-continent route is what you are hunting. Map DLC helps a great deal here because the base map cannot easily produce 2,200 km routes. Driver skill bonuses also raise job payouts, so this gets easier the further into your career you are.
A long money grind: 30 garages bought across the map. Garage prices vary by city and you can buy them from the management screens once you have discovered the city.
The practical approach is to build up a hired-driver fleet first so income scales, then buy garages steadily rather than trying to save for all 30 up front. Garages you already own count regardless of size.
Requires the Scandinavia DLC. Cities count as discovered once you visit them, so plan a tour that strings together Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland rather than shuttling between the same two.
Taking jobs that end in a city you have not been to is the efficient way to do this while still earning.
Requires the Italia DLC. Sardinia is reached by ferry from the Italian mainland — take the crossing and visit at least two cities on the island.
Only two are needed, so a single trip over and a short drive between two nearby cities finishes it.
Part of the Driving Academy. Open the Driving Academy from the main menu, go to Truck Driving Basics and complete the very first scenario of chapter one.
This is the intended tutorial entry point, so it is short and forgiving.
Recruitment agencies are where you hire drivers; they exist in cities and appear on the map once you have been to them. You need 40 distinct ones discovered.
Since each city holds one, this is really a map-coverage goal — it comes in alongside road discovery as you spread your deliveries across more cities. Map DLC widens the pool considerably.
You need ten garages at large size, with the average productivity across them at 75% or better. Productivity is shown per garage on the company screens.
Getting there means fully staffing those garages with hired drivers and giving them decent trucks, since idle or badly equipped drivers drag the average down. Build up to ten large garages first, then let the drivers run before checking the figure.
Stricter than Performance Optimizer: five large garages all showing 100% productivity simultaneously.
That means every driver slot in those five garages filled and working, so concentrate your best drivers and trucks into a handful of garages rather than spreading them thin. Because the requirement is simultaneous, check the screen while all of them are actively running.
The description is specific: only trucks you own count, and each of five different brands needs 999 km driven while on a job — free roam does not count.
So you need to buy at least one truck from five separate manufacturers and then deliberately run jobs in each. Roughly one long haul per brand covers the distance. Cheap second-hand trucks are enough since the distance is what is measured.
Requires the Vive la France ! DLC. Twenty distinct French cities visited.
France is a large region in that expansion, so a loop through the north, west coast and south while taking jobs will get you there without wasted driving.
Requires the Italia DLC. Fifteen distinct Italian cities visited. The mainland alone holds more than enough — Sardinia and Sicily are not required for this one.
Chain deliveries down the peninsula rather than doubling back on the same lane.
Requires the Italia DLC. Drive to both volcano locations in southern Italy — Etna on Sicily and Vesuvius near Naples.
Reaching Etna means taking the ferry across to Sicily, so plan it alongside the other Sicilian achievements to save a trip.
Requires the Beyond the Baltic Sea DLC. Twenty distinct cities within that expansion's region.
The map covers the Baltic states, Finland and part of north-west Russia, so a circuit rather than an out-and-back route is the efficient way to tick cities off.
Requires the Vive la France ! DLC. Corsica is reached by ferry; once there, visit four of its cities.
The island is compact, so a single visit covers all four in one short drive.
Requires the Special Transport DLC. This is one specific named cargo — watch the Special Transport job board for the Haul Truck Chassis and take it when it appears.
Special Transport offers rotate, so if it is not listed, sleep or take another job and check the board again.
Double the I Am a GPS target. Only roads you have never driven add to the counter, so this ends up being a completionist map-coverage goal.
Realistically it needs several map DLCs and a habit of always routing through unfamiliar roads rather than the fastest known lane. It accumulates alongside everything else in a long career.
You need twenty drivers total, ten of each gender, all at maximum level. Driver gender is visible when hiring at a recruitment agency, so recruit deliberately to balance the two groups.
Drivers level up by completing deliveries, so this is mostly waiting — keep them assigned to good trucks and long routes and check back over many in-game weeks.
Requires the Road to the Black Sea DLC. Twenty distinct cities across that region, which covers Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey.
A loop through all three countries gathers them faster than concentrating on one.
Requires the Italia DLC. Visit Sicily (ferry from the mainland), discover at least two of its cities, then buy a garage in each from the management screen.
Only ownership matters — the garages do not need upgrading or staffing.
Three conditions from the description: the job must be an urgent delivery, at least 550 km, and completed with less than 30 minutes remaining on the clock.
Because you have to arrive late rather than early, the tricky part is deliberately burning time — sleep or idle partway so the remaining timer drops under 30 minutes before you park, while still not missing the deadline. Watch the clock carefully on the final approach.
Requires the Special Transport DLC. Another specific named cargo — look for Silo on the Special Transport job board.
Offers rotate, so re-check the board after sleeping if it is not currently listed.
Requires the Road to the Black Sea DLC. Four distinct crossings between those three countries, so you will need to cross more than once and in more than one place.
Plan a route that zig-zags between the three rather than a single straight run, and note where the crossings sit on the map before setting off.
Requires the Heavy Cargo Pack DLC. Only parking XP earned on Heavy Cargo jobs counts toward the 1,000.
That means always choosing the difficult (reversing) park option on heavy jobs, since the harder park awards more. Cumulative across many jobs — there is no way to get it in one.
Requires the Scandinavia DLC. Find the Volvo Trucks factory on the Scandinavian map and take a job that originates there.
The cargo itself does not matter — the achievement is about the source company.
Requires the Special Transport DLC. Three Special Transport jobs in a row with zero damage.
Oversize runs are escorted and slow, and the loads are wide enough that clipping barriers or bridges is the main risk. Take every corner and narrow section at walking pace; one scrape resets the streak of three.
Requires the Iberia DLC. Thirty distinct cities across Spain and Portugal — this is one of the larger discovery targets, so expect to tour the whole peninsula.
Taking jobs that end somewhere new keeps it profitable while you sweep the map.
Requires the Special Transport DLC. Watch the Special Transport board for the Service Boat cargo specifically and take that job.
As with the other named special cargoes, offers rotate — sleep and re-check if it is not showing.
Requires the Scandinavia DLC. Take a job originating at the Scania factory in Scandinavia.
Pairs naturally with Volvo Trucks Lover — both factories are in the same expansion, so do them on one trip north.
Requires the Scandinavia DLC. Take a job carrying cattle and deliver it to a company within the Scandinavia region.
Livestock is a farm cargo, so check farm companies on the freight market when you are up north.
Requires the Road to the Black Sea DLC. Specifically a river ferry, not a sea crossing — the Danube crossings in that region are the ones to look for.
Route a journey that uses the river crossing rather than driving around, and the achievement pops on the crossing.
Requires the Italia DLC. Rome has several road corridors feeding into it; you need to arrive via three distinct ones.
The simple method is to leave the city on one road, turn around outside, come back in, then repeat using a different exit each time. Check the map around Rome first so you can see which corridors exist.
Requires the Special Transport DLC. The description limits this to base-game routes, so oversize jobs run within DLC regions do not count.
Ten distinct routes, not ten jobs, so repeating the same run will not progress it. Special Transport offers rotate — check the board regularly and take base-map routes you have not done before.
Requires the Scandinavia DLC. Take any job whose destination is a container port company inside the Scandinavia region.
Port companies are easy to spot on the map by their harbour icon.
Driving Academy. The condition is strict: complete any scenario in chapter four of Truck Driving Basics on your first attempt, and without ever correcting the manoeuvre by driving forward.
Chapter four is the advanced reversing content, so line the trailer up before you start moving and take it extremely slowly. Any forward correction voids the run — restart rather than trying to save a bad angle.
Requires the Heavy Cargo Pack DLC. Three heavy jobs in a row, each with no damage, no fines and delivered on time.
Heavy loads brake badly and are punishing on speed-limit fines, so drive well under the limit and leave a large stopping gap. Any single fine or scrape resets the three.
Requires the Heavy Cargo Pack DLC. Eight different heavy cargo types, not eight jobs — check the cargo name on each offer and avoid repeats.
Cumulative across your career, so it comes in naturally if you favour heavy jobs, but you may need to hunt the job board for the last couple of types.
Requires the West Balkans DLC. Twenty distinct cities in that region.
A coastal run plus an inland loop covers most of it; taking jobs into unvisited cities keeps the trip paying for itself.
Driving Academy. Five consecutive scenarios drawn from chapter three or chapter four of Truck Driving Basics with no failures anywhere in the run.
Practise the individual scenarios first so you know the layouts, then do the five back to back. A single fail restarts the streak, so favour the chapter-three scenarios you find most reliable.
Requires the Italia DLC. Find a shipyard company in Italy and take any job delivering to it.
Shipyards sit in coastal cities, so filter the job board by destination when you are in the region.
Requires the Road to the Black Sea DLC. The description names them exactly: Iron Gates and Bran Castle in Romania, Pomorie Beach and the Wall of Heroes in Varna in Bulgaria, and Lake Kucukcekmece in Istanbul, Turkey.
Mark all five on your map before setting off and plan one long circuit rather than five separate trips. Free roam counts, so you do not need jobs on the route.
Requires the Scandinavia DLC. Three distinct quarry companies within the Scandinavia region, each receiving at least one delivery.
Quarries take construction and bulk cargo, so watch for those job types on the board when you are up north.
Requires the Vive la France ! DLC. Three distinct French nuclear power plants, each with at least one delivery.
They are scattered across the French map, so check where they sit before you plan the route — chaining them in one loop saves a lot of driving.
Requires the Vive la France ! DLC. Three distinct cargo airport terminals in France, each receiving a delivery.
Airport companies appear in the larger French cities; plan a route that links three of them.
Requires the Italia DLC. The job must originate at the Carrara quarry in Italy — the destination does not matter.
Drive to Carrara and take whatever job is offered from that company.
Requires both the Scandinavia and High Power Cargo Pack DLCs. Yacht cargo comes from the High Power Cargo Pack and every marina in the Scandinavia region has to receive one.
List the marinas on your map first, because you need all of them rather than a set number. Yacht jobs are large and slow, so expect several sessions.
Requires the Vive la France ! DLC. The description names all six: Carcassonne, the Brotonne bridge, the Tiger tank, Peyrat-le-Chateau, Chateau de Ventadour and Chateau d'Usse.
Mark each one before you drive and plan a single circuit. Free roam counts, so no jobs are needed.
Requires the Beyond the Baltic Sea DLC. The pairs are listed in the description: Russia-Lithuania, Lithuania-Latvia, Latvia-Estonia, Estonia-Russia and Russia-Finland. Any order or direction counts, but each delivery has to be excellent (no damage, no fines, on time).
So it is five separate clean jobs, each crossing one of those specific borders. Plan them as a chain so you finish one in the right country to start the next.
Requires the Greece DLC. Twelve distinct cities in Greece.
A mainland loop covers most of them; take jobs into cities you have not reached yet so the tour still earns.
Requires the Heavy Cargo Pack DLC. The total weight over five back-to-back heavy jobs has to reach 250 tons, so an average of 50 tons per load.
Check the tonnage on each offer before accepting and skip the lighter heavy cargoes — a light job in the middle of the run drags the total down and you would need heavier ones to compensate. The jobs must be consecutive.
Requires the Special Transport DLC. Ten different oversize cargoes, so repeating the same load does not progress it.
Special Transport offers rotate, so check the board often and note which cargo names you have already delivered.
Requires the Special Transport DLC. Three back-to-back Special Transport jobs totalling at least 195 tons — an average of 65 tons each, so only the heaviest offers qualify.
Wait for genuinely heavy cargoes to appear on the board rather than taking the first three available; a light one in the middle makes the total impossible without restarting the run.
Requires the Vive la France ! DLC. The cargo must be diesel, LPG or petrol, and it has to reach three distinct truck stops in France.
Fuel is ADR cargo, so you need the ADR skill unlocked before these jobs appear on the board.
Driving Academy. Twenty-eight scenarios from Truck Driving Basics, and the final exams have to be among them.
Work through the chapters in order — the earlier ones are quick and build the habits the later reversing scenarios need. This is the umbrella achievement most of the other Basics ones sit inside, so do it last and the rest come along the way.
Requires the Nordic Horizons DLC. Twenty distinct cities in that northern expansion.
Distances up there are long, so chain jobs northward rather than making return trips.
Requires the Beyond the Baltic Sea DLC. Four distinct farm companies within that region, each receiving a delivery.
Farms take agricultural and bulk cargo, so filter the board for those job types while you are in the Baltics.
Requires both the Road to the Black Sea and Going East DLCs. Three separate jobs that start in Istanbul and run at least 2,500 km each.
That means hauling from Turkey deep into western or northern Europe. Check the distance on the offer before accepting, and expect each one to take a long real-time session.
Requires the Beyond the Baltic Sea DLC. Five jobs originating in Kaliningrad and ending in any other Russian city.
Kaliningrad is separated from the rest of Russia, so every one of these is a cross-border run. Take them consecutively from the Kaliningrad job board.
Requires the Beyond the Baltic Sea DLC. Ten jobs whose source company is a concrete plant.
Cumulative, and repeats of the same plant count, so once you find a concrete plant with a busy board you can grind it out from there.
Requires the Beyond the Baltic Sea DLC. Six deliveries in total: two to a locomotive factory, two to a furniture factory and two to a paper mill.
Locate one of each on the map first, then plan a loop between them rather than hunting jobs at random.
Requires the Road to the Black Sea DLC. The pairs are listed exactly: Istanbul-Burgas, Burgas-Varna, Varna-Mangalia and Mangalia-Constanta. Any order or direction counts but each delivery must be excellent — no damage, no fines, on time.
They chain naturally along the coast, so run them in sequence and drive conservatively; a single fine on one leg means repeating that leg.
Requires both the Road to the Black Sea and Going East DLCs. Unlike the other route achievements this one is order- and direction-locked: Paris-Strasbourg, Strasbourg-Munich, Munich-Vienna, Vienna-Budapest, Budapest-Bucharest, Bucharest-Istanbul.
You need a job for each leg in that exact sequence, so check the board in each city for an offer to the next one on the list before moving on. Plan a long session or two — it is the longest scripted route chain in the game.
Requires the Iberia DLC. Viewpoints are marked locations that play a short scenic cutscene when you drive to them; you need twelve in Iberia.
They show on the map once discovered, so plan a route that strings several together. Free roam counts.
Requires the Iberia DLC. Four distinct container port companies in Spain or Portugal, each receiving a delivery.
The peninsula has a long coastline, so a coastal route linking four ports is the efficient plan.
Requires the Iberia DLC. The cargo has to be ADR (hazardous), and it has to reach two distinct solar power plants in Iberia.
Unlock the ADR driver skill first or the qualifying jobs will not appear on the board.
Requires the Iberia DLC. Three distinct Iberian shipyard companies, each receiving a delivery.
Shipyards are coastal, so pair this with Let's Get Shipping on the same coastal loop.
Requires the Iberia DLC. Three separate jobs, each ending in A Coruna, starting from Lisbon, Seville and Pamplona respectively.
The order is not specified, so run whichever is most convenient first and then reposition. Each is a long haul across the peninsula.
Requires the West Balkans DLC. Eight scenic viewpoints in that region.
The coastal road holds a good cluster of them; check the map for viewpoint markers and plan a single drive.
Driving Academy. Twenty scenarios drawn from chapters two, three or four of Truck Driving Basics, all completed with manual transmission selected.
Set the transmission to manual in your gameplay settings before starting, and confirm it is still manual on each scenario. Doing these while working toward Dedicated Student means the same runs count for both.
Driving Academy. Six scenarios from chapter four of Truck Driving Basics completed without leaving the interior (cab) camera.
Chapter four is the advanced reversing content, so doing it blind from inside the cab is the real challenge — use your mirrors and take it slowly. Switching to an exterior view voids the attempt.
Requires the West Balkans DLC. One job between those two specific cities, delivered with no damage, no fines and on time.
The name points at a mountain road, so the risk is scraping barriers on tight bends and picking up speeding fines on the descents. Drive well under the limit and accept a slower time.
Requires the Greece DLC. Eight scenic viewpoints across Greece.
Check the map for viewpoint markers and plan a loop; free roam counts so you can do them without jobs.
Requires the West Balkans DLC. Three consecutive legs in the stated order: Rijeka to Zadar, Zadar to Split, then Split to Niksic.
Each leg needs a job going to the next city on the list, so check the board in each city before moving. Because the order is fixed, do not reposition out of sequence.
Requires the West Balkans DLC. The description gives the exact chain: Ore, then Aluminium Ingots, then Electrical Wiring, then Electronics, then Campervans, all delivered from companies in the West Balkans and in that order.
Find the companies that produce each link before starting, since you need a matching job at each step. Deliver one, then look for the next cargo on the board rather than taking anything in between.
Requires the Greece DLC. Four distinct hotel companies in Greece, each receiving a delivery.
Hotels sit in the tourist and coastal cities, so plan a coastal route linking four of them.
Requires the Greece DLC. The source is one specific company — Eliarchos Olive Farm — and the cargo must be olives or olive oil, delivered to five different Greek cities.
That means five separate trips back to the same farm. Take a job out, then reposition and check the farm's board again for the next destination.
Requires the Greece DLC. Six jobs total from one named company, Rock Eater Quarry: three carrying Marble Blocks and three carrying Marble Slabs. Note the description only demands the Slabs arrive undamaged.
Marble is fragile, so drive the slab runs very carefully — a knock means repeating that leg.
Driving Academy. Fifteen scenarios in the Truck Driving Proficiency module completed at the full three-star rating.
Three stars is a tighter standard than simply passing, so expect to repeat scenarios. Learn each layout on a pass run first, then replay it for the rating.
Driving Academy. Three consecutive Truck Driving Proficiency scenarios, each at three stars.
Pick three you have already three-starred once so you know the layouts, then run them back to back. Anything less than three stars breaks the streak.
Requires the Nordic Horizons DLC. Twelve scenic viewpoints across that region.
Distances in the far north are long, so mark all twelve on the map and plan one continuous drive rather than several trips.
Driving Academy. Twenty-three Truck Driving Proficiency scenarios passed — this asks for the pass condition rather than three stars, so it is the more forgiving of the two Proficiency achievements.
Do this alongside Nerd of the Road: every scenario you three-star also passes, so working for stars covers both.
Requires the Nordic Horizons DLC. Two jobs carrying Salmon Fillet, both starting in Tromso or Alta, and ending in two different countries.
Salmon is refrigerated cargo from the northern fish companies. Because the destinations must be in separate countries, check the destination country on each offer before accepting.
Requires the Nordic Horizons DLC. Two legs in the stated order and direction — Ivalo to Kiruna, then Kiruna to Svolvaer — and both must be excellent deliveries (no damage, no fines, on time).
Arctic roads are long and often snow-covered, so leave plenty of braking distance and stay under the limits. Do the legs consecutively.
Driving Academy. Twelve scenarios from the Double Trailer Handling module.
Double trailers reverse in the opposite direction to a single trailer, which is the whole point of the module — expect a real learning curve. Work through the earlier scenarios first to build the instinct before the tight ones.
