Unmissable story beat. Just play through the opening — the 'unexpected setback' is scripted and pops on its own within the first few minutes. The most-unlocked achievement in the game (96% of players), so you'll get it without trying.
Once you've got product moving, hire a dealer to handle distribution for you instead of selling everything by hand. Approach a recruitable NPC dealer and take them on. Frees up your time and unlocks this early.
Get busted by the police. Easiest to do on purpose: carry product or commit an offence in front of a cop and don't run — let them catch you. You'll lose what you're carrying, so do it with nothing valuable on you if you're farming it deliberately.
Finish the tutorial/prologue section that introduces dealing and the map. Unmissable — keep following the early objectives and it pops as you transition into the open game.
Make a single product valued at $100+. You get there by mixing your base product with additives to raise its quality and value — chain a few mixing steps and discover better recipes. A mid-tier mix easily clears $100 once you've unlocked a couple of ingredients.
First of the three net-worth milestones. Net worth counts cash plus the value of your properties, product and assets. Keep producing higher-value mixes and expanding distribution and you'll pass $100k naturally in the mid game.
A pure money sink — purchase the golden skateboard cosmetic from the relevant shop. The only barrier is affording it, so come back once your cash is healthy. No skill involved.
A specific trick rather than a grind. Complete a normal sale to a customer, then immediately pickpocket the same item back off them before they leave. You keep the cash and the product. Approach from behind to pickpocket; doing it right after the hand-off is the reliable window.
A long cleanup grind — feed 500 pieces of trash into the Cash for Trash recycling machines. Trash piles up from production and packaging, so hoard it instead of dumping it and run batches through the machines. Slow but entirely passive; it ticks up over a full playthrough.
The $1M net-worth milestone. By here you want automation: multiple properties, employees handling production, and dealers covering sales so income compounds while you focus on scaling. Reinvest profits into more production capacity rather than cosmetics.
This one is hidden, so Steam doesn't show the trigger. The name and its rarity (~8%) point to finishing a significant story or operation milestone — most likely resolving the cartel/main questline rather than a simple grind. Push the main objectives to completion and it should fall into place. We'll confirm the exact condition and update this.
Tag 25 different surfaces with spray paint in one save file. Buy spray paint and hit walls around Hyland Point — each new surface counts once. It must be 25 in the same save, so don't expect it to carry across files. Knock it out in a dedicated tagging run around the city.
The big grind — $10M net worth, and usually the last achievement standing (only ~6% of players have it). It needs a fully automated empire: max-value product recipes, several properties running production lines staffed by employees, and a network of dealers selling around the clock. Optimise your best recipe, scale horizontally, and let the operation run.
