Story-tied early-mid encounter. Use Leviathan Axe throws + dodge fire breath. Hit the chains binding the dragon to free it.
Story-locked. Atreus's arc takes a dark turn — the achievement pops on a specific cutscene mid-late game.
Iconic moment. Story-locked late-game cutscene where Kratos retrieves his original Greek weapons.
Final story beat. Reach Jötunheim's summit. Cinematic ending pops the achievement.
Final boss fight has three phases. Phase 3 with Freya intervening is the hardest. Use Spartan Rage when low on health.

Horns of Blood Mead from Nornir chests. 12 horns = 4 rage upgrades. Same chest type as Idunn's.
Find the hidden realm entry near the lake's centre. Requires Niflheim language pieces. Mid-late game discovery.

## The 9 Valkyries
Each Valkyrie is a brutal optional boss. 8 are scattered in hidden locations across realms. The 9th (Sigrun, the Valkyrie Queen) appears at Council of Valkyries after the other 8 are defeated.

Sigrun is considered one of the hardest boss fights in any God of War game. Patience + pattern recognition.
Defeat Travelers (the hooded miniboss enemies). Each drops a piece. Collect helmet, body, gauntlets. Crafting at Brok/Sindri requires the pieces + materials.
Muspelheim realm has 6 combat trials of escalating difficulty. The 6th trial is brutal — requires maxed gear + a Spartan Rage build. Crowd control with Frost Giant's Frenzy.
Jötnar shrines tell the giants' tragic backstory. 11 across the game's regions. Each gives narrative context for the ending. Wiki has locations.
Defeat Ancients (the stone-elemental giants). Each gives an Ancient Heart. Multiple drops needed for crafting. Hardest mini-boss collection.
Niflheim is a fog-based roguelite zone. Each run gathers Mist Echoes (currency). Buy unlocks at the central chamber. Get all rewards by completing multiple full runs without dying.
Ravens are hidden green-glowing birds scattered through every region. Throw Leviathan Axe at each. Sound cue helps location. Wiki tracker essential.
Treasure maps drop from chests. Each marks a dig location (usually requires landmarks like trees or rocks). 12 maps total. Visit each and dig.
