Jellyfish Jam
Defeat Jellyfish King. · 51.5% of players
~15 minutes
Defeat the Jellyfish King.

The Jellyfish King is the large jellyfish boss encountered in the Jellyfish Fields area. Like most bosses in this game he runs on a readable attack pattern: he telegraphs, attacks, then leaves an opening.

Stay mobile, wait out each attack instead of trying to damage him through it, and go in during the recovery window. Rushing is what kills players here, not the difficulty of the fight itself.

Spatula Seeker
Collect 10 Golden Spatulas · 49.7% of players
~30 minutes
Collect 10 Golden Spatulas.

Golden Spatulas are the main collectible and the game hands them out steadily for finishing tasks, beating challenge rooms and completing character missions. Ten will arrive naturally during the first couple of levels — you do not need to hunt for anything.

If you want them faster, do the side tasks each NPC offers rather than running straight for the level exit. Every character task in a level awards a Spatula, and the early levels are generous.

Sponge Smasher
Defeat 100 robots as SpongeBob in the campaign. · 46.7% of players
~cumulative
Defeat 100 robots as SpongeBob in the campaign.

SpongeBob is the character you play most, so a hundred robot kills arrive well before the end of the story without any effort. Just fight enemies instead of avoiding them.

If you somehow need to top it up, any early level with a steady enemy supply works — enemies respawn when you re-enter a level.

Jellyfishing
Complete Squidward's Mission in Jellyfish Fields · 45.0% of players
~10 minutes
Complete Squidward's mission in Jellyfish Fields.

Talk to Squidward in Jellyfish Fields and take on the task he offers, then complete it to earn his Golden Spatula. It is one of the standard per-character tasks that every level carries.

If you have already left the level, you can walk back in from Bikini Bottom — the task stays available.

Time For Tutorial
Collect everything in SpongeBob's House. · 39.2% of players
~5 minutes
Collect everything inside SpongeBob's pineapple house at the very start.

This is the opening area, before you reach Bikini Bottom proper. Before you leave, sweep the whole house: smash every breakable object, grab the shiny objects that spill out, and pick up any Golden Spatula and sock the room holds. Check upstairs and downstairs, and look behind and under furniture — a few pickups sit out of the obvious walking path. You can return to SpongeBob's house later from Bikini Bottom if you leave early, so this is never missable.

If the achievement does not pop when you think you are done, you have left a breakable or a floating shiny behind. Walk the room again and destroy everything that reacts to your Bubble Bash.

Sock Getter
Find 15 of Patrick's Socks · 38.2% of players
~30 minutes
Find 15 of Patrick's Socks.

Socks are scattered through the levels, usually tucked slightly off the main path — on ledges, behind scenery, at the end of a short platforming detour. Fifteen turn up almost by accident if you explore rather than beeline.

Whenever you see a route that looks optional, take it. That is where socks live.

Sweet Victory
Defeat Robo-Sandy in the Poseidome · 35.3% of players
~15 minutes
Defeat Robo-Sandy in the Poseidome.

Robo-Sandy is the arena boss fought in the Poseidome. She follows a cycle of attacks with clear tells and vulnerable gaps between them.

Circle the arena, let her commit to an attack, then punish the recovery. Do not stand still — most of her damage comes from players holding position and eating an attack they could have walked out of.

Super Spatula Seeker
Get 25 Golden Spatulas · 34.2% of players
~1-2 hours
Collect 25 Golden Spatulas.

Another cumulative milestone. Twenty-five is roughly where a normal playthrough sits once you have cleared the first handful of worlds and done most of the tasks along the way.

The useful habit for all four Spatula milestones is to fully clear each level before moving on. Backtracking later is possible but slower, because you have to re-enter levels from Bikini Bottom and re-walk them.

Star Smasher
Defeat 100 robots as Patrick in the campaign. · 33.4% of players
~cumulative
Defeat 100 robots as Patrick in the campaign.

Patrick gets much less screen time than SpongeBob, so this one usually lags behind. Whenever you are in an area that lets you switch to Patrick, use him for the fighting rather than swapping back.

If you finish the story short of a hundred, return to a level with a Patrick section and clear its enemies a few times — they respawn on re-entry.

Uptown and Downtown
Complete Mrs Puff's Mission in Downtown Bikini Bottom · 31.7% of players
~15 minutes
Complete Mrs. Puff's mission in Downtown Bikini Bottom.

Find Mrs. Puff in Downtown Bikini Bottom and accept her task, then complete it for the Spatula. Downtown is a vertical level built out of rooftops and ledges, so expect some platforming.

Take the route slowly — most failures here are missed jumps rather than combat. Nothing is missable; you can retry as often as you like.

Surf's Up!
Finish the main missions of Goo Lagoon · 31.6% of players
~30 minutes
Finish the main missions of Goo Lagoon.

Work through Goo Lagoon's main task list rather than just crossing the level. The area is spread across the beach, the pier and the surrounding platforms.

This is a progress achievement rather than a challenge one — clear the tasks the level presents and it pops. You can return later if you leave partway through.

Squirrel Smasher
Defeat 100 robots as Sandy in the campaign. · 27.4% of players
~cumulative
Defeat 100 robots as Sandy in the campaign.

The same idea as the SpongeBob and Patrick kill counts, and usually the slowest of the three because Sandy is playable in the fewest places. Do your fighting as Sandy whenever the game gives you the option.

If you come up short, re-enter a level with a Sandy segment and farm the respawning enemies there.

Toxic Terror
Defeat Robo-Patrick in the Industrial Park · 25.4% of players
~15 minutes
Defeat Robo-Patrick in the Industrial Park.

Robo-Patrick is the Industrial Park boss. Same rhythm as the other robot bosses: read the wind-up, avoid, then counter in the gap.

Keep an eye on the arena hazards as well as the boss — a lot of deaths here come from backing into the environment while dodging rather than from the boss itself.

Shrimp Catcher
Defeat Prawn in the Mermalair · 25.1% of players
~15 minutes
Defeat Prawn in the Mermalair.

Prawn is the boss of the Mermalair. Treat it like the other set-piece fights: stay moving, watch for the attack telegraph, and strike in the recovery window rather than trading hits.

If you keep dying, slow the fight down deliberately — take only guaranteed openings and accept a longer fight.

Ultra Spatula Seeker
Get 50 Golden Spatulas · 25.1% of players
~3-4 hours
Collect 50 Golden Spatulas.

Halfway to the full set. By this point you should be completing every character task in every level rather than just the story-critical ones, and buying the Spatulas that Mr. Krabs sells for shiny objects.

If you are short, revisit earlier levels — the first few worlds usually still hold Spatulas from tasks you skipped, and they are much easier than the late-game ones.

Hit Rock Bottom
Finish the main missions of Rock Bottom · 24.7% of players
~30 minutes
Finish the main missions of Rock Bottom.

Rock Bottom is the dark trench level. Complete its main task list to unlock this.

The level leans on precise platforming in low visibility, so slow down and line up jumps rather than taking them at speed. As with every level, you can leave and come back if you want to return with more abilities.

Life's as extreme as you wanna make it!
Clear all the Ski slopes in Sand Mountain · 24.6% of players
~45 minutes
Clear all the ski slopes in Sand Mountain.

Sand Mountain's sledding slopes are among the toughest challenges in the game and you need to clear all of them. Each is a downhill run with tight timing.

The usual advice is to learn each slope's layout on a throwaway run rather than fighting for a clean first attempt — once you know where the hazards and jumps are, the runs get dramatically easier. Expect to retry; there is no penalty for failing.

Many players find this the single hardest part of a 100% run, so if it is blocking you, go do other levels and come back with fresh patience.

Keep it Rolling
Complete the Rolling Ball Puzzle in Mermalair · 23.5% of players
~20 minutes
Complete the Rolling Ball Puzzle in the Mermalair.

The Mermalair contains a rolling ball section you have to navigate to the end. It is a balance-and-steering challenge rather than a combat one.

Small, deliberate inputs work far better than large corrections — most falls come from over-steering. If you fall you simply restart the section, so it is safe to keep trying.

Are you ready now?
Hidden achievement23.5% of players
~unknown
Hidden achievement — trigger not verified.

This is a hidden achievement and Steam does not publish a description for it, so we cannot confirm what unlocks it without guessing.

Rather than invent a trigger, we would rather say plainly that we have not verified this one. Check a community guide, or the community tips on this achievement, for a confirmed method — and if you work it out, please add a tip so other hunters benefit.

Hello, Bikini Bottom
Find all the hidden Golden Spatulas in Bikini Bottom. · 22.1% of players
~45 minutes
Find every hidden Golden Spatula in the Bikini Bottom hub.

The hub itself hides Spatulas, not just the levels. Treat Bikini Bottom as a level in its own right: climb onto rooftops, check behind buildings, look for platforming routes that lead up and away from the street.

Some of these need abilities you unlock later, so if you cannot reach something on your first visit, note it and come back once you have more moves. Nothing here is missable.

Robot encyclopedia
Destroy at least one type of every robot in the game. Bosses don't count · 21.5% of players
~cumulative
Destroy at least one of every robot type in the game. Bosses do not count.

Plankton's robot army has many distinct types and each one debuts in a particular area, so this unlocks naturally if you fight rather than run past enemies. The description is explicit that bosses are excluded, so you only need the regular enemy roster.

The types you are most likely to miss are the ones that appear in only one or two levels, or in optional side areas — so kill everything you meet instead of dodging past it. If the achievement has not popped by the end of the game, revisit levels you rushed and clear out the enemies you skipped.

Sock Concert
Find half (40) of Patrick's Socks · 20.2% of players
~2-3 hours
Find half (40) of Patrick's Socks.

Forty means you are searching deliberately rather than picking them up in passing. Each level holds a fixed set, and the pause menu tracks how many you have found per level — use it to spot which areas you have under-explored.

Socks are frequently placed above or behind the obvious path, so look up, and check ledges you can only reach with a specific character's ability.

Mega Spatula Seeker
Get 75 Golden Spatulas · 19.0% of players
~5-7 hours
Collect 75 Golden Spatulas.

At seventy-five you are into the harder tasks — the timed challenges, the platforming rooms and the ones gated behind abilities you only unlock later.

If you are stuck, check which levels you have not fully cleared and work through their task lists one at a time. The pause menu tracks how many Spatulas each level still holds, which is the fastest way to find what you have missed.

Ship Shape
Reclaim the Flying Dutchman's ship in the Flying Dutchman's Graveyard · 17.9% of players
~30 minutes
Reclaim the Flying Dutchman's ship in the Flying Dutchman's Graveyard.

A story objective inside the Flying Dutchman's Graveyard — work through the level until you recover the ship and it unlocks automatically.

The Graveyard is a dark, disorienting level with a fair amount of platforming, so expect the navigation to be the difficult part rather than any single fight.

Shanghaied
Defeat the Flying Dutchman · 17.6% of players
~20 minutes
Defeat the Flying Dutchman.

The Flying Dutchman boss fight follows the reclaiming of his ship. As with the other bosses, he cycles through telegraphed attacks with openings in between.

Learn the cycle on your first attempt rather than trying to win it, then play the second attempt patiently. There is no penalty for dying here.

SpongeBob vs SpongeBob!
Defeat SpongeBot SteelPants in the Chum Bucket Lab · 17.6% of players
~30 minutes
Defeat SpongeBot SteelPants in the Chum Bucket Lab.

The giant robot SpongeBob fought in the Chum Bucket Lab, and the beginning of the game's finale. It is a multi-stage fight and noticeably harder than the mid-game bosses.

Treat each phase as its own pattern — when the boss changes behaviour, stop and watch before committing to attacks. Keep collecting any health pickups the arena provides between phases rather than saving them.

Patience beats aggression here; the fight is long but every stage is survivable once you know the tells.

The Small Does Not Rule
Defeat Robo-Plankton and neutralize SpongeBot SteelPants' Brain. · 17.5% of players
~30 minutes
Defeat Robo-Plankton and neutralize SpongeBot SteelPants' brain — the final fight.

The last confrontation of the campaign, following straight on from SpongeBot SteelPants. Finishing this completes the story.

Expect multiple phases again. As with the previous fight, read each new phase before attacking and take only clean openings. Once this pops you are free to return to any level to mop up Spatulas and socks — nothing locks behind the ending.

Kelp Forest of Fear
Find all the Lost Campers in Kelp Forest · 16.2% of players
~30 minutes
Find all the Lost Campers in Kelp Forest.

Kelp Forest hides a set of lost campers that you rescue by finding them scattered through the maze-like kelp areas. The level is easy to get turned around in — its layout loops back on itself and several campers sit down side routes that look like dead ends.

Sweep the level methodically rather than following the critical path. If you finish the level and are still short, re-enter and check the branches you skipped.

Sleepy Time
Get All Golden Spatulas in the SpongeBob's Dream level · 16.2% of players
~45 minutes
Collect every Golden Spatula in the SpongeBob's Dream level.

SpongeBob's Dream is a late-game level built from dream versions of the main cast's areas. Clear every task and challenge it offers rather than just reaching the exit.

As with every level, the pause menu tells you how many Spatulas remain here, so you can return and mop up specific ones instead of replaying the whole thing.

Super Ultra Mega Spatula Seeker
Get all 100 Golden Spatulas · 10.2% of players
~10-14 hours
Collect all 100 Golden Spatulas.

The full set. Nothing here is missable, so this is a completion grind rather than a skill wall — but the last stretch includes the hardest platforming challenges in the game and the Spatulas bought from Mr. Krabs, which cost a lot of shiny objects.

Work level by level using the in-game counter that shows how many Spatulas each area still holds. Smash everything as you go so shiny objects accumulate for the purchased Spatulas rather than having to farm them separately at the end.

Sand Mountain and the Kelp Forest tasks are the usual sticking points; take them slowly and use the character best suited to each challenge.

100% SpongeBob
Get 100% completion. All golden spatulas and all socks · 10.1% of players
~12-16 hours total
Reach 100% completion — all 100 Golden Spatulas and all 80 socks.

The capstone achievement. It requires the complete collectible set: every Golden Spatula, including the ones bought from Mr. Krabs with shiny objects, and every one of Patrick's socks.

Nothing is missable and every level can be re-entered freely, so this is a completion grind rather than a difficulty gate. The practical route is: finish the story first so you have all characters and abilities unlocked, then work back through the level list using the per-level collectible counters to find exactly what each area still holds.

The two things that most often stand between players and this achievement are the Sand Mountain slope challenges and the last few socks hidden in spots that need a specific character. Budget extra time for both.

Sock Opera
Find all (80) of Patrick's Socks · 9.4% of players
~6-8 hours
Find all 80 of Patrick's Socks.

The complete sock hunt. None are missable — you can re-enter any level at any time — so this is purely thorough exploration.

Go level by level and use the per-level counter rather than wandering. When a level shows one or two remaining, the culprit is almost always a spot needing a character you did not have when you first visited: a ledge only Sandy can reach with her lasso swing, a gap only Patrick can cross, a tight space only SpongeBob fits through. Re-walk with each character in mind.

Return socks to Patrick to cash them in — he trades them for Golden Spatulas, which also feeds the Spatula milestones.
