Spawn with the Copper Axe. Walk to any tree, hold attack. Wood drops. First-minute achievement.
Build a tiny shelter or stand by the Guide. Don't die between sunset + sunrise. Auto-unlocks.
Dig down a few blocks with the Copper Pickaxe. Copper / tin nodes are everywhere on surface + just below. Hit any ore deposit.
House needs walls, light, table, chair, door, and minimum size. Use the Housing menu (♥ icon) to check validity. Guide will move in once built.
Craft a full set (Wood helmet/breastplate/leggings — 50 wood total). Equip all 3.
Copper Hammer = 8 copper bars + 3 wood at a work bench. Or loot one from a chest. Required to break background walls + alters.
Gold chests spawn in caves with random loot. Walk up, interact. Common loot: Bands of Regeneration, Magic Mirror, Cloud in a Bottle.
10 wood. Unmissable — required for everything else.
Heart crystals are red glowing gems on cave walls. Mine one with copper pickaxe or better. Smash with hammer / pickaxe to consume = +20 max HP.
Spike Ball / dart trap / boulder trap in caves. Just walk into one with low HP. Or get hit by a dart + don't heal.
Fallen Stars drop at night. Collect 3, craft Mana Crystal at work bench, right-click to consume → +20 max mana.
Mine iron or lead, smelt at furnace (10 ore → 5 bars), then craft anvil at work bench. Unlocks tier-2 crafting.
Spawns when you have 200+ HP + 3 NPCs alive, or summon with Suspicious Looking Eye at night. Use ranged weapons + bouncy floor. Two phases — head charges in P2.
Suspicious Looking Eye (eye), Worm Food (worm), Mechanical Eye/Worm/Skull (hardmode), Slime Crown, etc. Craft any one.
Random night event — water turns red, enemies spawn aggressively + zombies break doors. Just hide in a fortified base + survive until dawn. Wear iron armor minimum.
Get the basic Grappling Hook from skeletons (15% drop) or craft from 3 hooks + chain. Equip in accessory slot. Massive mobility upgrade.
Find Corruption (purple) or Crimson (red) biome. Shadow Orbs / Crimson Hearts hang in chambers. Hammer them. Drops weapons + spawns the Eater/Brain on the 3rd break.
Earliest wings: Demon/Angel Wings from Souls of Light + Souls of Night + 20 feathers. Or Fairy Wings from pixies. Or Sparkly Wings (1/10000 from Fairy).
Dig straight down to hell. The Underworld is the lava layer with brimstone + hellstone. Bring Obsidian Skin Potion + lava-walking accessory.
Pinky is a small pink slime (1/100 of slime spawns). Just kill any pink slime. He has 200 HP — Wooden Sword does it.
Place minecart track. Get a minecart. Ride at an enemy on the track. Speed-collision damage = kill. Easiest on low-HP slime.
Spider Nests are biomes of dark cobwebbed caves with wall crawlers + cocoons. Common in caverns. Just enter one.
Three vanity slots (head/chest/legs) on the right of your armor panel. Drop a vanity item in each. Tuxedo set works.
Random event after 200 HP + 1 Shadow Orb broken. Or summon with Goblin Battle Standard. Wave-based. Bring AOE weapon — Star Cannon, Demon Scythe.
Get any yoyo (Wooden, Rally, Malaise from corruption). Equip + use.
Cumulative walking distance. ~150,000 blocks. Played normally hits this. Or AFK on a flat track.
Fairies are small glowing creatures in caverns post-hardmode. Just see one. They lead you to nearby treasure if followed.
Summon with Slime Crown OR rare random spawn. Bouncy boss. Use ranged weapons + bouncy floor. Drops the Slimy Saddle + Ninja outfit.
Talk to the Old Man at the Dungeon entrance at NIGHT. Three-part boss: head + 2 hands. Kill the hands first to lower head defense. Don't fight till dawn — Skeletron one-shots.
Drop from a great height without Lucky Horseshoe / featherfall / wings. Hit ground with <10 HP remaining. Don't die.
Slime Mount from King Slime is easiest. Or buy Pigronata / find Unicorn from hallow. Equip mount item in mount slot.
Build up with rope/blocks until your altitude indicator says 'Space'. ~1200 blocks up. Or use Bottomless Bucket cheese with hoverboard.
Hives are large honey-filled chambers deep in jungle caves. Just walk into one. Be careful — breaking the larva spawns Queen Bee.
Place 7+ Tombstones in a small area. Surface fog + ghost spawns indicate the biome formed. Buy tombstones from Clothier or just die a few times.
After beating Skeletron, enter the dungeon. Golden Keys drop from skeletons there — unlock any locked dungeon chest. Cobalt Shield + Aqua Scepter are great drops.
Break the Larva inside any bee hive OR use Abeemination. She charges + spawns bees. Bring jester / hellfire arrows. Hive Pack accessory is a great drop.
Every block you break counts. Cumulative. Just play normally — hit ~100 hours of mining/digging easily.
Throw a Guide Voodoo Doll into Underworld lava — Guide dies + Wall spawns. Bring molten armor + minishark / phoenix blaster + spider build. Wall closes the world horizontally — run forward + shoot the eyes.
Same as Still Hungry. Killing Wall of Flesh triggers Hardmode: Corruption/Crimson + Hallow spawn V-pattern across the world, new ores unlock.
Random event. Slimes fall from the sky. Just kill enough (~150) and a King Slime spawns. Survive till dawn.
Once in hardmode, get the Pwnhammer (drops from Wall of Flesh). Hammer any altar — first smash spawns new ores world-wide.
The Groom is a Blood Moon spawn (1/4 in hardmode). Just kill him during one. Drops Tuxedo.
After smashing an altar, Cobalt / Palladium spawns. Find blue/orange ore. Mine with Molten Pickaxe or better.
Crimson world's pre-hardmode boss. Smash 3 Crimson Hearts OR craft Bloody Spine. Two phases: invincible until you kill all Creepers, then the Brain itself. Stay mobile in P2.
Smash 3 Shadow Orbs OR craft Worm Food (rotten chunks + vile powder). Corruption-world boss. Splits into smaller worms when damaged — use piercing weapons (Vilethorn, spears).
Nymphs disguise as bound NPCs underground. Walk up — they transform into a fast attacker. Kill her. She drops the Metal Detector accessory.
Tim is a rare wizard-hat-wearing enemy in caverns (1/200 spawn of Dark Caster). Kill any wizard-hat-wearer underground.
Life Fruit grows on jungle grass underground in hardmode. Looks like a red bumpy plant. Right-click to eat: +5 max HP (up to 500).
Hardmode event triggered by altar break OR Pirate Map (from ocean enemies). Pirates spawn until you kill the Flying Dutchman + crew. AOE + bouncy walls.
Town Pet NPC is a free pet (cat license / dog license / bunny license from Zoologist). Approach + right-click to pet.
Hardmode dungeon (post-Plantera) enemies drop rare items: Tactical Shotgun, Magnet Sphere, Sniper Rifle, Rocket Boots, Necromantic Scroll. Any one triggers it.
Buy from Arms Dealer for 35 gold (after you have at least 1 musket / pistol unlocked). Premier pre-hardmode gun.
Twins, Destroyer, Skeletron Prime. Each summoned at night with their mechanical item. Megashark + holy arrows tear up Destroyer. Daedalus Stormbow for Twins/Prime. Mythril/Orichalcum armor min.
Random hardmode day event after at least one mech boss. Dark sky + horror movie enemies (Mothron, Reaper). Build a flat arena + use Megashark.
Find + break a Plantera Bulb (pink bulb in jungle underground). Must fight in jungle. Two phases: ranged hooks + bursts. Bring chlorophyte armor + Megashark or hardmode bow.
Underground chests can be trap-rigged. Some have boulder/dart traps wired. Open one + take the lethal hit.
Chlorophyte spawns naturally in jungle mud. Mine with Drax/Pickaxe Axe. Caution: chlorophyte ore SPREADS — boxes it up to grow more if you need a farm.
In the Lihzahrd Temple's altar room. Summon with Lihzahrd Power Cell + altar. Two phases: head separates + flies. Stand on platforms above + spam ranged.
Mine 60+ hellstone (Underworld) with Nightmare Pickaxe / Deathbringer. Smelt at hellforge (= 20 hellstone bars). Craft Molten Pickaxe at iron anvil. Required for hardmode.
Talk to Nurse + pay for heals. Each heal scales with damage taken. Cumulative across all sessions. ~1g over a playthrough is automatic.
Find a Gnome (rare cave NPC look-alike). Force it to surface (place blocks around it / wait for night→day cycle). Daylight petrifies it.
Place ≥80 Mushroom Grass Seeds on Mud above ground. Wait for them to grow + bloom. Surface mushroom biome enables Truffle NPC.
500 HP (consume 15 Life Crystals + 20 Life Fruits) + 200 Mana (9 Mana Crystals).
Plantera drops Temple Key. Find the Jungle Temple (large stone structure with lihzahrd bricks) in the jungle. Use key on the main door.
Buy Party Center from Party Girl OR random chance triggers a party if multiple NPCs are happy. Activate the center.
After killing Golem, cultists spawn at the dungeon entrance. Kill all 4 to summon Lunatic. Multi-phase — ice/fire/lightning attacks + shadow clones. Bring beetle armor.
Dig to the lava lake floor of hell. Just keep going down past the cavern + ash layers.
Spawns after all 4 pillars die OR Celestial Sigil. Three eyes (head + 2 hands) — kill each to reveal the heart, then DPS heart. Bring Solar Eruption / Last Prism / Vortex Beater + Stardust Dragon.
Trigger by activating a Martian Probe (rare flyer in sky). Once it scans you + escapes, Martian Madness starts. Defeat the Martian Saucer. Crystal Serpent or Razorblade Typhoon for the Saucer.
Excalibur (hallowed bars) + True Excalibur (broken hero sword from mech bosses) → True Excalibur. Same path for True Night's Edge. Combine both for Terra Blade. Heavy ore + mech grind.
Beating Lunatic spawns Celestial Event. 4 pillars (Solar, Nebula, Vortex, Stardust) appear across the world. Each requires 100 enemies killed inside its zone to vulnerable, then DPS. Cycle them all.
Requires Hallowed Bars (from mech bosses) + Souls of Might/Sight/Fright (each soul = a mech boss). Craft at mythril anvil. Mines chlorophyte.
Summon with Truffle Worm (catches glowing mushrooms biome surface) on the ocean. Three phases: faster + faster. Use Razorblade Typhoon or megashark + holy arrows.
Biome chests (Frozen, Crimson, Corruption, Sky, Jungle, Hallow) appear post-Plantera, unlocked with biome-specific keys (1/2500 monster drop in that biome). Sky chest is easiest if you have Sky Crate fishing.
Summon with Gelatin Crystal (found in Hallow underground). Easier than mechs. Drops Volatile Gelatin + crowns.
100% drop from Moon Lord. So you just need to kill Moon Lord. See CHAMPION_OF_TERRARIA.
Talk to the Angler NPC (rescued from ocean as boy). Accept quest. Fish in the indicated biome + return the item. Done.
Every boss in vanilla — Eye of Cthulhu, Eater/Brain, Skeletron, Queen Bee, Wall of Flesh, all 3 mechs, Plantera, Golem, Duke Fishron, Cultist, Empress, Queen Slime, Deerclops, Moon Lord. Track via Bestiary.
Build a Glowing Mushroom biome above-ground (see Funkytown) + provide a valid house there in hardmode. Truffle moves in.
Doctor Bones is a rare jungle daytime enemy variant of Hellbat. Kill him. Drops Archaeologist set.
Use Pumpkin Moon Medallion at night (hardmode). Wave 15 unlocks Pumpking. Bring chlorophyte armor + Daedalus Stormbow with Holy Arrows on platforms.
Find a Shimmer pool in the Aether mini-biome (rare cavern biome). Drop any transmutable item — gold becomes platinum, etc.
Each NPC has biome + neighbour preferences. House them with their favourites + correct biome. When happiness hits max, talk for the achievement. The Princess has the simplest happiness setup.
Combine Frostspark Boots (Lightning Boots + Ice Skates) + Lava Waders. Each requires multiple component-merge layers — a tree of accessories ending in Hermes Boots, Aglet, Anklet, Obsidian Skull, Water Walking Boots, etc.
Combine 9 swords: Copper Shortsword, Starfury, Enchanted Sword, Bee Keeper, Influx Waver, Star Wrath, Meowmere, Seedler, Terra Blade. Each takes its own grind.
25+ NPCs total. Each has a spawn condition: Tax Collector (golden gun on tortured soul in underworld), Princess (all NPCs alive + valid house), etc. Use a checklist guide.
~30 slime species across biomes/events/seeds: blue, green, purple, jungle, illuminant, lava, hopping, crimslime, etc. Special ones: Bunny Slime, Pinky, Hoplite Slime (Old One's Army).
Kill a Prismatic Lacewing (rare hallow butterfly at dusk) — Empress spawns. Hardmode dance-attack boss with one-shots if you fight her in day for the rainbow sword (Terraprisma).
Buy a Kite from Skeleton Merchant (rare cave NPC). Or craft. Use it during high wind (windy day weather). Particles fly.
Summon with Deer Thing in a snow biome at midnight. Pre-hardmode boss — large arena, dodge ice spikes. Drops Eye Bone (pet).
10+ dye slots (3 armor + 6 accessory + pet/mount/etc). Buy dyes from the Dye Trader or craft from Strange Plants. Fill them all.
Use Snow Globe (1/15 from Present opened in hardmode). Wave-based snowmen. AOE explosives work.
Stardust Armor (5 base minions) + Pygmy Necklace + Necromantic Scroll + Papyrus Scarab + Hercules Beetle + Summoning Potion + Bewitching Table = 9. Stack accessories + buffs.
Reward from the Angler at quest 30+ (random). Or fish up a Golden Carp (Lava Charm?) — actually only the Angler gives it. Grind quests.
Summon Mechanical Eye, Mechanical Worm, AND Mechanical Skull simultaneously. They appear together. Endgame DPS only — wait until you have Pickaxe Axe + Megashark + holy arrows.
Use Naughty Present at night. Wave 15 = Ice Queen. Higher DPS than Pumpkin Moon. Spectre armor + Razorpine + Holy Arrow setup.
Quest per day. Cumulative.
Drops from hardmode dungeon caster enemies (Diabolist 1/50).
Old One's Army is a wave defense event (place Eternia Crystal Stand + Crystal). Tier 3 unlocks post-Golem. Build proper sentry/summoner setup with Tavernkeep weapons.
Create a world with one of the secret seeds: '05162020' (Don't Dig Up), 'not the bees', '12102001', 'for the worthy'. Each has unique mechanics.
Combine Ankh Charm + Obsidian Shield. Ankh Charm needs ~10 debuff-immunity accessories combined via Tinkerer's Workshop (Armor Polish, Trifold Map, Megaphone, etc.). Big grind.
Place 100+ torches in a cave + activate the Torch God event from the menu / random trigger. Bullet-hell wave of flying torches. Survive. Reward: biome-matching torches.
PDA + Magic Mirror at Tinkerer's Workshop. PDA needs GPS + Fish Finder + Goblin Tech + REK 3000. Layered accessory crafting tree.
Stacks on the 10. Slow grind.
Hardmode Blood Moon ocean event. Catch a Blood Eel / etc — eventually Dreadnautilus spawns. Bring high DPS — it has stages.
Both drop from Queen Bee. Bee Armor (set of 3) + Bee Gun. Equip all + shoot.
Hotline Fishing Hook (post-Plantera angler quest) OR Lavaproof Hook + Magma Stone. Cast in any lava pool. Underworld preferred.
Rainbow Gun from hardmode dungeon. Unicorn Mount from Unicorns in Hallow (1% drop). Mount up + shoot.
Settings > Video > 'Use Original Title' toggle. Or via a console command. Switch back the OG art.
Same loop. Use Fisherman Potion + Sonar + Crate buffs.
Cook at Cooking Pot with Golden Carp + Pumpkin (uncommon ingredient). Fish in a Golden world / use Lucky Coin.
Town Slimes spawn via specific actions: kill 25 of each colored slime variant in journey mode, etc. Each becomes a pet. Have all 8+ moved in.
Kwad Racer Drone (drone-mount). Activate, fly up to space altitude. Same vertical limit as Into Orbit.
Rare boulder in caves that's animated/friendly. Approach + interact.
Dive underwater. When breath meter empties + you start drowning, drink a Bottled Water (filled at any water tile). Doesn't help, but unlocks.
The grind. ~7 months of in-game days at one quest per day. Skip days by sleeping in a bed. Reward: Golden Fishing Rod (if not already).
Use Clentaminator + Green Solution everywhere. Or Shimmer + Solutions for new biomes. Massive late-hardmode grind — usually achieved only by completionists.
Craft / find Magical Conch / Electric Guitar (mob drop). Use it.
Rescue Stylist (a cave NPC bound in spider web). Use her to change hair/style for any NPC.
Special seed mechanic — give your villagers weapons/armor through a dialogue/equip system.
Drops from chopping trees. Plant on dirt with grass — they grow into new trees. 100 cumulative — quick.
Drops from Chaos Elementals in hardmode Underground Hallow (1/200 normal, 1/100 expert). One of the rarest drops. Patience.
Likely refers to a Calamity/community-mod tier upgrade, or the final accessory mod chain combining Cell Phone with other endgame info accessories.
Joja Cola is the Stardew Valley crossover item dropped by Old One's Army or fishing. Right-click Dryad NPC with it in hand — she's pleased.
Wait for a 'Cool' day weather effect (sun visible + low temperature). Stand in sunlight.
Hardcore multiplayer — when you die, your tombstone spawns at the death spot. Drop tombstone on a friend with low HP. Multiplayer required.
Special seed item. Equip it + swing near NPCs — they react with disgust.
Encounter every entity in the game (NPCs, mobs, bosses, critters, events). 670+ entries. Many are random spawns. Endgame collection achievement.
Triggered in 'Get Fixed Boi' / Master mode where the 3 mechs combine. Or stack-summon and survive. Insane DPS.
Equip wings, fly up to space altitude. Same as Into Orbit but solo.
Place a Tombstone Minecart on a track + ride it. Tombstone Minecart is a drop from Graveyard biome.
Beat Moon Lord on the 'Don't Dig Up' or 'Get Fixed Boi' seed (boulder-themed enemies). Special seed mechanics.
Wear the Vampire vanity set (Halloween / Goodie Bag drops). Walk into sunlight during the day with the costume active.
Special seed / event where boulders rain from sky. Hide under solid blocks.
Hardcore mode — die once normally would delete the character. Use a Demon Heart (consumed) + Hardcore Revival mechanism / Master Mode item that grants one revive.
Craft / drop the Moon Lord Legs + Lunar Boots set. Wear all pieces — appears as mini Moon Lord. Drops from Moon Lord defeats.
Journey Mode has Item Research — donate quantities of items to unlock spawning them. 50% of all items is hundreds of hours of resource collection.
