Tutorial mission. Played automatically when you boot Helldivers 2 the first time. Unmissable.
Pick any Terminid sector planet. Unmissable on first bug deployment.
Mission selector shows day/night icon for each operation. Pick a night op + extract. Bring flashlight armor.
Galactic map > pick an Automaton sector planet > deploy. Even Trivial counts. Unmissable.
Ship > Armory > set armor + helmet + cape that aren't your starting defaults. Even the freebies from rank-up work.
Diff 5+ Bug Eradicate, or Diff 6+ regular mission. Bring Stalwart / MG-43 / Flamethrower. 150 is achievable in a full operation.
Stand next to a Hellbomb, throw a 500kg next to yourself, or get hit by a Bile Titan slam. Ragdoll fly 25m. Tracking is automatic.
Anti-Material Rifle, Diligence Counter Sniper, or Quasar Cannon. Open desert biome (Hellmire, Esoponio). Headshot a Trooper at 100m+.
Hidden. Major Orders are the cross-server campaign objectives shown on Ship intel. Win any while logged in + having contributed at least one mission.
Defense planets appear during Major Orders when an enemy invasion threatens a Super Earth planet. Pick one and deploy.
Hulks have a weak point in the back vent (red glowing). Auto-cannon to the eye-vent works. Anti-Material Rifle to the back vent kills in 2 shots.
Stay in mission past the main timer's expiry. The Pelican-1 still comes for stragglers — extract during the bonus window.
Tactical objectives = the secondary objectives on the map (radar towers, fuel siphons, etc.). 10 cumulative is one or two evening sessions.
Hidden. Stalkers are invisible-cloak bugs that ambush. Listen for hissing, watch shimmer. Kill one — Eruptor or grenades to the head when it decloaks.
Hidden. Solo extract with all samples on the map. Diff 3 minimum. Use stealth route + light armor.
Aim at a low-HP teammate + use stim (default L1). Easy in any squad mission.
Orbital Laser on a bug breach. Wait for max swarm, drop the beacon at the center. 25+ kills is easy with bug hordes on Diff 5+.
Bile Titans are the giant green bugs. Railgun, EAT-17, Quasar, or Orbital Railcannon Strike. Aim at the underbelly when it spits, or head with anti-armor.
Breaker / Punisher / Slugger — get within 1m of a Bug Warrior, fire. Just stand still as they charge.
Passive grind. ~50-100 enemies per mission. Hits naturally after ~50-100 missions. Bot Eradicate missions farm this fastest.
Rare samples on Diff 6+. Squad must collectively carry 15 to evac. Hit POIs + crashed ships. 4-player squad essential.
Half of the 100-mission achievement. Comes naturally before For The Greater Good. Just play.
Stalwart machine gun (150-round mag) — dump the whole mag into a bug breach. Don't release the trigger. Lock onto a swarm.
Automaton Devastators throw grenades. Run up, prompt 'pick up' before it detonates, throw it back. Tight timing.
Common samples (green/grey) drop everywhere. Diff 3+ has 15 commons on most maps. Squad cooperation extracts them all.
Pick up a backpack-style heavy (Recoilless / Spear / Autocannon) ammo backpack. Stand near a teammate carrying that weapon — prompt appears to assist-reload.
Just play. Each mission counts. Even Trivial counts — so for a final push, you can grind low-diff ones if you want.
Flamethrower stratagem + Incendiary Breaker. Bug Diff 5+ Eradicate is ideal — hordes funnel through choke points. Aim at clustered groups.
Difficulty 6 (Extreme) full operation with zero squad deaths. Play a Blitz or Eradicate map for shorter runs. Bring stealth armor + cluster strikes + a coordinated 4-stack.
Each module takes a small amount of samples for level 1. Sample-farm Diff 5+ missions. Spread upgrades wide rather than deep.
Take damage to both arms + both legs. Easy: stand in a small fire patch on low health — you'll bleed in all 4. Stim to survive after.
Equip Jump Pack stratagem. Activate it while moving full speed into a wall or rock. Pop into ragdoll on impact.
Ship modules cost rare + super samples. Pick a high-impact one (e.g. Patriotic Administration Center). Need ~ 60+ rare samples + super samples. Months of grinding.
Both Hulk arms must come off (one is shield, one is flamer/cannon). Anti-material rifle to each shoulder joint. Then extract on the same mission with the Hulk still wandering.
All 4 players load orbital barrages (Walking Barrage, Orbital Laser, etc.). Stack 6 calls on the same beacon position. Time your throws to overlap.
Drop your Resupply stratagem directly on top of a Charger. The pod's impact deals lethal damage. Mark the Charger, throw straight up.
Blitz missions are 12-minute timer maps. Speedrun an Extreme one in 6 min: jetpack armor, light kit, beeline objectives, extract immediately.
Bring only your sidearm + stratagems. Avoid firing your primary the entire mission. Auto-cannons and orbitals do the work. Diff 4 is achievable solo with a stealth build.
