Story achievement from the opening. You finish the Gauntlet as part of the campaign's first act — just play through it. No special conditions; the timed/leaderboard versions of the Gauntlet are separate achievements (see The Student / ...Becomes the Master).
Unlocks during the campaign when Jack Cooper becomes BT's Pilot. Purely story progression — you can't miss it.
Unlocks automatically at a set point in the campaign. No special action needed — just keep playing the story.
The Core-kill achievements need you to land the killing blow on an enemy Titan using each Titan's Core ability. Scorch's Burst Core (Flame Core) dumps a huge thermite wave — fill your Core meter (deal/take damage), get an enemy Titan low, then trigger the Core and finish it with the burn. Chapter select lets you revisit levels where each Titan loadout is available. Note: BT can swap loadouts at Loadout terminals in several missions, so you can farm multiple Core kills in one level.
Awarded during 'Effect and Cause', the time-travel level — completing its key sequence. Unmissable as you advance the story.
Unlocks at a scripted campaign moment. Just play through the story — nothing to set up.
A campaign-completion/story-beat achievement. Advancing the main story unlocks it automatically.
Northstar's Salvo Core unleashes a barrage of rockets. Charge your Core, weaken an enemy Titan, then fire the Salvo to land the kill. Swap to the Northstar loadout at a Loadout terminal, keep distance (Northstar is a sniper), and use the rocket volley as the finisher.
Unlocks when the campaign has you call down / reunite with your Titan. Purely story-driven.
Ronin's Smart Core auto-targets with the sword/shotgun. Charge the Core, get in close (Ronin is a melee bruiser), trigger Smart Core, and finish an enemy Titan while it's active. Use a Loadout terminal to equip Ronin, then bully a weakened Titan.
BT can equip different Titan loadouts (Ion, Scorch, Northstar, Ronin, Legion, Tone) picked up at Loadout terminals through the campaign. Collect every loadout as you encounter its terminal. Use a guide to confirm you grabbed each one — they appear at set points, and getting all of them naturally lines up with the Core-kill achievements.
Finish the whole single-player campaign on Regular (or higher — a Hard/Master clear also grants this). The campaign is generous with checkpoints. If you plan to go for the harder difficulty achievements, note that difficulty does NOT stack retroactively in one run — a Master clear gives Regular+Hard+Master, but you must actually select the highest difficulty you want credited (Master credits all lower).
Flight Core lifts Northstar into the air raining rockets. Charge the Core, lift off, and land the killing shots on an enemy Titan from above. Equip Northstar at a Loadout terminal; the airborne rocket rain is easy to aim onto a grounded, weakened Titan.
In the level where you can reprogram Stalkers (the IMC factory / 'The Fold Weapon' area with the reprogramming pedestals), reprogram enough Stalkers to have 6 or more friendly at the same time. Don't let earlier ones die before you convert more — convert quickly and protect them so six are alive simultaneously.
Ion's Laser Core fires a continuous cutting beam. Charge the Core, weaken an enemy Titan, then hold the beam on it to finish. Equip Ion at a Loadout terminal; keep the beam tracking the Titan's centre mass until it pops.
Return to the Gauntlet (early campaign area, revisitable) and beat the recorded ghost time. Learn the route: pre-plan every wallrun and target, shoot enemies in order without stopping, and don't overshoot corners. A clean momentum run beats the ghost with a little practice — smoothness beats raw speed.
In multiplayer menus, open a Pilot loadout and change anything (weapon, tactical, kit), then save. Instant.
Collectibles are Pilot Helmets hidden throughout the campaign levels. 10 comes naturally if you explore side rooms. Use a collectible-location guide to grab them as you go so you don't have to replay chapters.
Win any multiplayer match. Attrition (the default mode) counts kills of AI grunts and Titans too, so even weaker players contribute to the win — stick with your team and farm grunts. One victory does it.
Scorch's Flame Core surrounds it in a fire wave. Charge the Core, get a Titan low, then release the Flame Core and let the burn finish it. Equip Scorch at a Loadout terminal — it excels in tight spaces where the fire can't be avoided.
Ronin's Sword Core supercharges its melee. Charge the Core, close the distance, trigger Sword Core, and slash a weakened enemy Titan to death. Equip Ronin at a Loadout terminal; the empowered sword hits are the finisher.
Equip the Cloak tactical (available in the campaign), activate it, sneak up behind an enemy grunt, and melee them for a takedown while still cloaked. Easy to set up in any stealthy stretch — approach from behind and hit melee before the cloak runs out.
As a Pilot on foot, start a wallrun and kill 3 enemies without touching the ground between kills. Pick a room with grunts along a wall, get on the wall, and mow them down mid-run. A fast weapon (CAR/R-201) helps. If you break the wallrun, the streak resets — chain the kills in one continuous run.
Find a mission section that spawns three enemy Titans close together (the later 'Trial by Fire' / factory Titan waves are ideal). Weaken all three to near-death WITHOUT killing them, group them up, then unleash one Core (Scorch's Flame/Burst or Northstar's Salvo are best for area kills) to destroy all three during that single Core activation. Chapter-select the level and set it up deliberately.
Beat the campaign on Hard. Enemies hit harder and Titan fights are riskier — keep moving, use cover to recharge shields, and dash-cancel in Titan duels. A Master clear also unlocks this, so if you're confident, jump straight to Master to get both in one run.
Build momentum (sprint downhill or off a wallrun) and enter a slide, killing 3 enemies during slides. Line up a corridor of grunts, slide through, and shoot as you go. You can chain slides to keep it going. Same idea as I know Kung Fu but sliding instead of wallrunning.
Kill a full enemy Titan while you're on foot, not piloting your own. Use anti-Titan weapons (the Archer lock-on rocket, Charge Rifle, or rodeo-and-battery-rip tactics). Whittle it down with anti-Titan fire and rodeo grenades until it's destroyed while you're a Pilot.
Rodeo = jump onto an enemy Titan as a Pilot. Get near a hostile Titan on foot, jump/wallrun onto its back, and you'll latch on (you can then rip a battery/plant a grenade). Just latching on counts. Any campaign Titan fight where you're out of your own Titan works.
Networks are Titanfall 2's clan/group system. Open the Networks menu in multiplayer and join any open Network (or create one). Instant unlock.
Keep collecting the hidden Pilot Helmets across all chapters. Many are off the main path — check ledges, side corridors, and areas you can only reach with wallrunning. A location guide + chapter select (replay any completed mission) makes reaching 25 straightforward.
The hardest difficulty. Damage is brutal — you die in a few hits and Titans melt fast. Tips: abuse Pilot mobility (wallrun/dash) to break line of sight, take every battery you find to top up BT's shield, master the Titan loadout swaps mid-fight (each Core is situational), and use the environment. 'The Beacon' and 'Trial by Fire' Titan gauntlets are the spike points. A Master run also credits Regular + Hard, so do this LAST as your only high-difficulty playthrough if you want all three efficiently.
In the level that passes through Wildlife Research Labs, there are caged Prowlers (the beasts). Find a caged Prowler and kill it. It's easy to walk past — look for the containment cages and shoot the creature inside. Chapter-select the level if you missed it.
Set a Gauntlet time good enough for a top-3 board placing. This needs a near-perfect run: memorise the optimal path, chain wallruns without touching the ground, kill each target with minimal shots, and slide through the final stretch. Restart instantly on any fumble. Expect several attempts to shave the last seconds — the route is the same as The Student, just executed flawlessly.
Every Pilot Helmet in the game. Use a full collectible-location video/guide and replay missions via chapter select for any you missed. A couple are genuinely tricky platforming grabs (especially in 'Effect and Cause' with the time-shift and in the factory levels). Missable-free — you can mop them all up after finishing the story.
Find a spot with a big cluster of grunts (the early Militia/IMC infantry waves). In your Titan, let them bunch up, then hit them with a wide AoE — Scorch's thermite/Flame Core or a rocket salvo into a packed crowd. You need 25 kills within a 2-second window, so wait for the densest group and hit them all at once. Scorch is the easiest Titan for this.
