37 achievement guides · Full game page →
A lot of this list is single-run conditions that don’t conflict with each other, so you can earn several at once instead of replaying for each. Each plan below is one run. Achievements in a plan are marked with a ⛓ badge further down.
Six achievements are each scoped by their own description to "a single Antiquity Age" - Cultural, Economic, Scientific, Military, Expansionist and Diplomatic. Because the window is the Age rather than the game, the lever that matters most is turn count: a slower game speed and a larger map both hand you more Antiquity turns to bank Triumphs in. Commit to your chosen Legacy Paths from the opening turns rather than reacting to what the map offers.
- ✓▢One Hit Wonder. — Complete 3 Major Cultural Triumphs in a single Antiquity Age.
- ✓▢Trade Secret. — Complete 3 Major Economic Triumphs in a single Antiquity Age.
- ✓▢Book Smart. — Complete 3 Major Scientific Triumphs in a single Antiquity Age.
- ✓▢Pax a Wallop. — Complete 3 Major Military Triumphs in a single Antiquity Age.
- ✓▢Paint the Map. — Complete 3 Major Expansionist Triumphs in a single Antiquity Age.
- ✓▢Talk of the Towns. — Complete 3 Major Diplomatic Triumphs in a single Antiquity Age.
HONEST LIMIT: each of these six is independently scoped to one Antiquity Age, which is why they are grouped - but we have NOT verified how many of the six types one Age can realistically carry to three Triumphs at once. Treat this as "play one deliberately long Antiquity Age and push as many types as your output supports", not as a promise of six in one sitting. Nothing is lost by falling short: any you miss are simply available again next game. Read the Legacy Path panel in-game for the current Triumph requirements.
The other six Triumph achievements are scoped to "a single Exploration Age". A normal campaign runs Antiquity into Exploration into Modern, so the game you started for the plan above walks straight into this one - no new save needed. Re-commit at the Age transition: Legacy Paths reset, so whatever you banked in Antiquity does not carry forward.
- ✓▢Velvet Glove. — Complete 3 Major Diplomatic Triumphs in a single Exploration Age.
- ✓▢Beyond the Horizon. — Complete 3 Major Expansionist Triumphs in a single Exploration Age.
- ✓▢Science in the Suburbs. — Complete 3 Major Scientific Triumphs in a single Exploration Age.
- ✓▢Relic Hunter. — Complete 3 Major Cultural Triumphs in a single Exploration Age.
- ✓▢Coin Toss. — Complete 3 Major Economic Triumphs in a single Exploration Age.
- ✓▢Settled the Score. — Complete 3 Major Military Triumphs in a single Exploration Age.
Same honest limit as the Antiquity plan - grouped because each description scopes itself to one Exploration Age, not because all six are proven simultaneous. The real saving here is that this Age and the Antiquity one live inside the same campaign, so one long game is doing double duty.
Start the Deity attempt as a leader whose Modern Age win you have not collected yet. "Playing God." asks only that you win a game on Deity - it names no leader, no victory type and no map - so the Deity run and one leader unlock are the same game. Shrink the field to make Deity survivable: a small map with few opponents removes most of the AI snowball before it starts.
- ✓▢Playing God. — Win a game on Deity difficulty.
- ✓▢Proverbial Wisdom. — Win the modern age as Confucius.
CONFLICT, and it is the defining one in this game: 24 achievements are "Win the modern age as <leader>" and you pick exactly one leader per game, so they can NEVER be stacked with each other - 24 games is the floor. Confucius is named here only as an example; swap in whichever leader you still need and this plan is always exactly two achievements. Folding Deity into a leader run you were going to play anyway is the one genuinely free saving available.
Cultural Legacy Path, three Major Triumphs, one Antiquity Age.
Every Age in Civilization VII is scored on its own Legacy Paths, and this achievement is scoped to a single Antiquity Age — the Steam description says so explicitly. That has two consequences worth planning around.
It resets. Whatever you banked in a previous Age or a previous game does not carry over, so you need three Major Triumphs of this one type inside one Antiquity Age. If the Age ends with two, start another game and try again; nothing is lost permanently.
Spread, do not rush. Because the requirement is three of the same type, the usual advice to chase whichever Legacy Path is going well is wrong here. Commit to this path from the opening turns, take the civ and policy choices that feed it, and keep pushing it even when another path looks more rewarding.
A slower game speed and a larger map both buy you more Antiquity turns to bank Triumphs in, which is the single biggest lever you have. Check the Legacy Path panel in-game for the exact Triumph requirements — they are listed there and are the authoritative source.

Diplomatic Legacy Path, three Major Triumphs, one Exploration Age.
Scoped to a single Exploration Age, exactly as the Steam description states — Triumphs earned in Antiquity or Modern do not count toward it.
The practical approach is the same as the Antiquity versions: pick this Legacy Path deliberately at the Age transition, take the civ whose bonuses point at it, and keep feeding it for the whole Age rather than chasing whichever path is momentarily ahead. Three of one type is a commitment, not an opportunistic pickup.
Because a normal campaign runs Antiquity into Exploration into Modern, one long game can serve both an Antiquity triumph achievement and an Exploration one back to back — see the stack plan at the top of this page.
The Legacy Path panel in-game lists each Triumph and what it needs; read it there rather than relying on outside guides, since these requirements have been patched.
Expansionist Legacy Path, three Major Triumphs, one Exploration Age.
Scoped to a single Exploration Age, exactly as the Steam description states — Triumphs earned in Antiquity or Modern do not count toward it.

Win the Modern Age playing as Confucius. The achievement is tied to the leader you picked at setup, not to any particular victory type — any Modern Age win counts, so take whichever path your game is already set up for.
Two things make this class of achievement much cheaper than it looks:
- Difficulty and speed are yours to choose. Nothing in the description requires a high difficulty, so if you are only here for the leader unlock, drop the difficulty and the map size and take the quickest win available.
- Check the Age options on the setup screen. If your version lets you begin a game directly in a later Age rather than playing all the way from Antiquity, that shortens each leader run considerably. Confirm this in the setup menu yourself — do not assume it.
One game can only ever satisfy one leader, so the 24 leader achievements are 24 separate games at minimum. Batch them with anything else you still need: a Deity run, or an Age you want Legacy Triumphs from, costs nothing extra to fold into a Confucius game.
Confucius's specific leader abilities are not verified here — read them on the leader select screen, and lean the run toward whatever they reward.

Deity is the top difficulty, and the AI's advantages compound hardest in the Antiquity Age while you are still small. The description asks only that you win the game — it does not name a victory type, a leader or a map, so every one of those is a lever you can pull in your favour.
Shrink the problem. A small map with few opponents removes most of the AI's snowball before it starts. Fewer rivals means fewer bonus-fuelled armies and less competition for the Legacy Paths.
Survive Antiquity, then convert. The AI lead is largest early and narrows as the Ages progress, so the priority in Antiquity is not to win it but to come out of it intact and well-positioned. A defensible start with good terrain does more for a Deity run than an aggressive opening.
Commit to one Legacy Path per Age. Splitting your output across paths is what loses Deity games. Pick the one your civ and leader are built for and pour everything into it.
Stack it. A Deity win also satisfies whichever leader's Modern Age achievement you are playing — pick a leader you still need and get two out of one run. See the stack plan at the top of this page.
Specific Deity AI bonus values are not verified here; treat the above as approach rather than exact numbers.

Batch them with anything else you still need: a Deity run, or an Age you want Legacy Triumphs from, costs nothing extra to fold into a Harriet Tubman game.
Harriet Tubman's specific leader abilities are not verified here — read them on the leader select screen, and lean the run toward whatever they reward.
