Hogwarts Legacy — Achievement Walkthrough

Tutorial moment. The Sorting Hat assigns you a House (or you pick). Story-locked.

Story-locked. Attend any class lesson — Herbology, Charms, Transfiguration, etc. Unmissable on tutorial flow.

Mid-tutorial boss. Use Levioso to keep it airborne + spell combos. Story-locked.

Unforgivable Curses unlock via Sebastian's questline (dark magic path). Learn each, use each on enemies. Pop on all three cast.

Talent Points earned by levelling up. Open the Talents menu, spend 5 in any tree (Spells, Dark Arts, Stealth, etc.). Easy by mid-game level-up.

Mid-game story arc. Complete all four Keepers' memory trials in the Map Chamber. Each requires using Ancient Magic.

Unlock the Enchanted Loom (story-tied). Apply an upgrade (Traits) to any gear piece. Achievement on first upgrade.

Sometimes butterflies appear in the world; follow them to a hidden chest. Pop on first treasure found via butterfly trail.

Challenges menu: combat, exploration, room of requirement, etc. Pick one (e.g., Combat Challenge), complete all tiers (5 per challenge). Easiest: kill X enemies with specific spells.

Multiple dragon-rescue side quests via Poppy or Deek. Complete the Hungarian Horntail mission + others.

Use Hippogriff or Thestral mount. Fly the entire coastline of the map. The achievement triggers when you've covered the full perimeter.

Each class teaches new spells. Attend all class quests + private lessons. ~25-30 spells total in the base game. Unmissable via main + side story.

Beat the final boss (Ranrok). Story-locked endgame achievement.

Final story memory trial. Defeats the lead-in to the final boss. Story-locked.

Late-game mission. Defeat the wild Graphorn in its lair via Conjurations + Ancient Magic. Tame it after — becomes a mount and Room of Requirement resident.

Combo counter increases per attack landed. Don't get hit. Use multiple enemies + AoE damage to stack the meter. Battle Arenas with continuous waves work best.

After the main credits, additional content unlocks. Complete the post-game story to pop this.

Find the Phoenix's nest via Deek's side questline. Rescue it from poachers. The Phoenix joins your Room of Requirement vivarium.

Story-locked. Attend the Great Hall feast scene. Unmissable.

Imelda Reyes offers broom races across the world map. Win any one. Use upgraded broom for max speed.

Mandrake is a combat plant deployable in combat. Each use stuns nearby enemies. 10 different enemies stunned cumulative.

Sebastian's final story choice: turn him in or protect his secrets. The choice triggers this achievement regardless of which path.

Amit is the Ravenclaw companion. Help him investigate astronomical mysteries + ancient ruins. Complete his arc.

Natty is the Gryffindor companion. Her quest involves investigating Rookwood + Harlow's plots. Complete her storyline by helping at the graveyard mission.

Use the Loom to upgrade a single gear piece three separate times. Each upgrade adds a Trait. Materials from beast rescues + plant harvests.

Sebastian is the Slytherin companion. His arc explores dark magic + saving his sister. Multiple choices affect ending — complete all main beats.

Rescue any beast (Niffler, Mooncalf, Puffskein, etc.). Bring it to your Room of Requirement vivarium. Pet it. Achievement on first pet.

Petrificus Totalus = stealth one-shot kill. Sneak up on enemies (use Disillusionment Charm). 50 cumulative kills.

All potion recipes: Wiggenweld, Edurus, Maxima, Thunderbrew, Focus, Felix Felicis, Invisibility, etc. Unlock recipes from Brewer's shop or class quests. Brew each at least once.

Each professor (Sharp, Garlick, Onai, Weasley, Hecat) has a personal mini-quest chain. Complete each. Naturally hit during normal play.

All plant types: Mandrake, Venomous Tentacula, Chinese Chomping Cabbage, Fluxweed, Dittany. Plant each in your greenhouse or Room of Requirement potting tables.

Find the Astronomy Wing's Headmaster's office. Use the secret passage + Alohomora (lock-pick spell) to reach the upper tower. View Hogwarts from the highest point.

Story-locked. Professor Hecat's DADA class. Learn Expelliarmus + duelling basics.

Cairn-marked dungeons (small underground sites) scattered in the highlands. Find each via map exploration. Solve the puzzle inside for chest reward + discovery credit.

Floo Flames are fast-travel statues across Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and the highlands. ~150+ total. Interact with each to unlock. Use map filter to track missing ones.

Battle Arenas scattered around the highlands. Each has 3 difficulty tiers (Cruciatus, Imperius, Avada Kedavra). Beat each arena at any tier — 14 arenas.

Flipendo is a knock-back spell. Find cows grazing in the Hogwarts highlands. Cast Flipendo on them to tip them over. 10 cumulative cow-tippings.

Level 40 = max useful tier. Earn XP from combat, side quests, exploration discoveries. Naturally hit by completing most main + side content.

Demiguise statues appear only at night. Use the night-cycle (wait at any rest point). Each gives a Demiguise Moon — used to upgrade Alohomora locksmith abilities. Wiki has all 36 locations.

Reach Level 36+ (max meaningful talents). Spend every Talent Point. Cumulative all categories.

~80+ side quests. Track via the quest menu. Some require specific character progression. Wiki tracker essential.

Ancient Magic finishers vary by enemy type. Build the Ancient Magic meter, use the finisher (RT/triangle) on each unique enemy type at least once. Wiki has the full enemy list.

Merlin Trials are puzzle-leaf challenges scattered across the open world. ~95 total. Each requires spell interactions (Accio, Flipendo, Incendio, etc.). Use Mallowsweet leaves to activate.

Beasts: Niffler, Mooncalf, Puffskein, Diricawl, Jobberknoll, Kneazle, Hippogriff, Thestral, Unicorn, Phoenix, Graphorn. Pair males + females in the vivarium. Eggs hatch over time. All 11+ types bred.

All collection challenges across categories: beasts, plants, gear, conjurations, etc. Long completion grind. Wiki tracker per category.
