The One Who Waits revives you in exchange for building a cult. Accept the deal in the opening — unmissable.
Rescue and indoctrinate the first creature you meet on a Crusade. Unmissable story step.
Mini-bosses (guardians) appear at the end of Crusade runs before the bishop. Beat the first one you encounter — dodge-roll and chip it down.
Build a Temple and deliver a sermon at the altar to generate Devotion. A core early loop action.
Recruit followers from Crusades and the Hamlet. Five comes quickly in the first hour.
Story progression opens new Crusade biomes. Cross into a new region for the first time — happens as you advance the main quest.
Knucklebones is the dice mini-game played against NPCs (e.g. at the campfire / fox). Win one match — match your dice in columns to multiply, and knock out the opponent's matching dice.
The first bishop, at the end of Darkwood. Clear the region's Crusades to reach him, then dodge his root/vine attacks and counter between them.
Followers eventually die of old age, illness, or hunger. When one does, perform their funeral/ascension. Unmissable over time.
Fleeces are equippable forms with passive effects. Unlock your first new fleece via the relevant requirement (e.g. sacrifices, Forneus/the priest). One is enough here.
Keep rescuing creatures on Crusades and inducting them. Ten is a natural early-game milestone.
Unlock the sacrifice ritual (via doctrines) and offer a follower at the altar for a big Devotion/XP boost.
Part of the Pilgrim's Passage / fishing-hamlet questline. Gather the materials the lighthouse keeper needs and restore its flame.
The Anura (swamp) bishop. Watch for her summon/leap and tongue attacks; punish after she lands.
Spend Devotion at the Divine Inspiration tree to unlock every building/upgrade. Keep giving sermons to bank Devotion until the whole tree is purchased.
Unlock the fishing spot (Pilgrim's Passage) and catch every fish species, including rare ones that need bait/specific spots. Use the Fishberg/encyclopedia to track which you're missing.
When a follower dies (or you butcher one), you can add their meat to the cooking pot and serve it. Cook a meal containing follower meat. (Followers may dislike it!)
Curses are the secondary 'spell' attacks. Like weapons, they unlock through tarot cards and progression — run Crusades and grab tarots until you've seen them all.
The Silk Cradle bishop. He spams projectiles and shields — break his guard and dodge the bullet-hell phases.
Weapon types (sword, axe, dagger, hammer, gauntlets) and their variants unlock via Tarot cards and crusade rewards. Keep running Crusades and collecting tarots until all weapon types are seen.
Build the Confessional Booth and have a follower confess. Confession boosts loyalty and can remove dissent — do it once for the achievement.
Discover all five overworld hub locations (Pilgrim's Passage, Spore Grotto, Smuggler's Sanctuary, the Hamlet/Lonely Shack, etc.) by exploring the world map between Crusades.
Doctrines are unlocked by collecting Commandment Stones (from leveling up followers/forms). Gather enough stones to fill out every doctrine category.
Grow your congregation to 20. Build enough housing and keep recruiting; you may need to manage faith/hunger to support a big flock.
Stockpile 666 gold at once. Coins come from sermons (gold doctrine), selling, and Crusades — stop spending and let it build to 666.
The Spore Grotto bishop and last of the four. Fast, multi-phase fight — keep moving and learn the spider-leg sweeps before going for damage.
Beat all the Knucklebones opponents in the world (the fox and the others you unlock). Each is a one-off win — track down every dice opponent and beat them.
Hidden story achievement: after the four bishops, face the final confrontation with The One Who Waits. A long multi-phase fight — bring your best weapon, a strong curse and full health. Completes the main story.
A flawless Leshy kill. He's the easiest bishop to no-hit — learn his telegraphs, dodge every attack, and use a fast weapon. Bring health-restoring options as a safety net (taking 0 damage is the requirement).
Ten sacrifices over the game. Old or ill followers are ideal candidates — sacrifice them rather than letting them die naturally.
Followers can produce eggs (via the Anointment/relationship systems or the nursery). Hatch five new followers from eggs over the game.
Flawless Heket. Dodge her tongue and summons cleanly; a ranged or fast weapon plus mobility curses (like the freeze/poison ones) make it more controllable.
Midas (the golden statue NPC) takes your gold offerings. Complete his questline — keep feeding the statue gold over multiple visits until it pays off and returns wealth.
Hidden achievement (~7%). Likely a leadership feat — e.g. maxing faith/loyalty across a large flock, or completing all follower quests. Keep your cult devout, well-fed and happy at scale. We'll confirm the exact trigger and update this.
Tarot cards are mid-run buffs collected from the Tarot vendor and run rewards. Seeing every card is a long collection grind — buy them whenever the card-reader appears.
Flawless Kallamar — tricky due to his projectile spam. Memorise the bullet patterns and weave through them; chip him during the gaps when his shield drops.
The hardest flawless fight — Shamura is fast with overlapping attacks. Practise the patterns, use a high-DPS loadout to shorten the fight, and stack defensive curses/fleeces. Come over-levelled.
Hidden achievement. Likely tied to healing/reviving — e.g. resurrecting a follower, or fully healing your sick followers via the healing bay/ritual. Use the healing systems to trigger it. We'll confirm the exact condition and update this.
Each fleece has its own unlock condition (often demanding ones — e.g. no-hit clears, big sacrifice counts). Work through every fleece requirement; a long completion task.
Hidden achievement, almost certainly the marriage/romance feature (Sins of the Flesh content). Raise a follower's relationship to maximum and marry them via the relevant ritual building.
Disciples are higher-tier followers earned through the loyalty system. Maxing 12 of them takes a sustained, well-run cult — keep faith high and complete follower quests.
Max out the Temple's tiers (the central structure). Requires lots of resources and Devotion-tree progress — a late-game building grind.
Follower forms are the different creature appearances. Recruit the many follower types across all regions and special events to register every skin in your collection.
Purgatory is the post-game challenge mode (a grid of escalating boss/encounter fights). Clear a full row of it — bring strong weapons/curses and learn each encounter.
Hidden achievement. The name points to a specific axe-weapon feat — e.g. killing a boss/many enemies with the (heavy) axe. Equip an axe and use it for a notable kill. We'll confirm the exact requirement and update this.
Relics are the chargeable special abilities. Gather every relic from crusade rewards, vendors and quests — use a collectible list to find the ones you're missing.
Marchosias is a tough optional/secret boss (post-game content). Bring a strong weapon + curse and learn the attack patterns; it's one of the hardest fights, so come well-upgraded.
Awarded for completing the main story and claiming your place as a god after the final boss. Finish the campaign through the ending.
Hidden achievement. Likely awarded for clearing all rot/poop/sickness and keeping the compound spotless (or never letting it build up). Keep janitor stations and healing bays running and clean up constantly. We'll confirm the exact trigger and update this.
Woolhaven (the town/hub content) has a full checklist of buildings, quests and unlocks. Finish all of it — a major completionist milestone, so work through every Woolhaven task.
Lore entries unlock from story progress, fishing-up tablets, NPC questlines and exploration. Completing the lore log means doing most of the side content — chase every questline and collectible.
Lamb outfits (cosmetics) unlock from quests, collectibles and milestones. Collect every one — several tie to completing other content, so it's a back-half completion goal.
Hidden achievement (~1.6%). The name suggests sacrificing or devouring a high-value follower (e.g. a golden/Midas-linked one) or a specific reward. Experiment with the sacrifice and cooking systems on special followers. We'll confirm the exact condition and update this.
Complete the full Ratau questline (your mentor). It plays out over the whole game via his fishing-shack visits and a touching endgame conclusion — see it through to the end.
Flockade is a collectible card/set system. Gathering every piece is a long completionist hunt — use a checklist for the sources (vendors, quests, drops).
Legendary Weapons are restored by collecting their pieces across the world and meeting their conditions. One of the rarest achievements (~0.8%) — a deep endgame collection grind; follow a Legendary-weapon guide for each piece.
Hidden achievement and the rarest in the game (~0.7%). It's tied to deep post-game/secret content — gear up fully before attempting. We'll confirm the exact trigger and update this.
