Two Point Museum — Achievement Walkthrough
49 achievement guides · Full game page →
A lot of this list is single-run conditions that don’t conflict with each other, so you can earn several at once instead of replaying for each. Each plan below is one run. Achievements in a plan are marked with a ⛓ badge further down.
Five of these say "in one museum" or "in a single museum", which means they all want the SAME building rather than five different saves. Pick one museum, give it far more floor space than its objectives need, and treat it as the permanent home for every collection achievement: six themes on display at once, thirty different wildlife exhibits, every Famous Art piece, and ten Robo staff on the payroll. Keep building it long after the chapter objectives are done and the level requirements arrive on their own.
- ✓▢Mega Museum — Have a level 50 museum.
- ✓▢Built on Sand(box) — Build a level 10 museum in Sandbox Mode.
- ✓▢Everything for Everyone — Display an exhibit from 6 different themes in one museum.
- ✓▢Monster Menagerie — Display 30 different Wildlife exhibits in a single museum.
- ✓▢Byte at the Museum — Employ 10 Robo staff (Janitors or Security Guards) in a single museum.
- ✓▢Please Don’t Touch! — Display every Famous Art exhibit in a single museum.
Nesting: if you build the level 50 museum inside Sandbox Mode, you pass level 10 on the way and Built on Sand(box) pops without a second save. The caveat is that we have not verified whether Sandbox grants every theme and exhibit - if yours does not, do the four collection achievements in your largest campaign museum and keep Sandbox purely for the two level requirements.
Six achievements come out of the same habit: never leaving an expedition slot empty. Mint Condition and Frame It Til You Make It are quality rolls made at the moment an item is recovered, so they are pure volume. Map Reader and Farflung Fixer are map progress, which only moves while teams are out. Healing Holiday and Raining Dragons are specific destinations - Remedial Springs and Scorched Earth - so slot those trips in whenever a staff member is hurt or the dragon storyline is open.
- ✓▢Mint Condition — Discover a Pristine quality exhibit on an expedition.
- ✓▢Frame It 'Til You Make It — Display a pristine piece of original Art.
- ✓▢Map Reader — Unlock 25 expedition points of interest (POIs).
- ✓▢Farflung Fixer — Have 15 Wildlife POIs at Biodiversity Level 3.
- ✓▢Healing Holiday — Cure an Illness or Injury by sending staff on an expedition to Remedial Springs.
- ✓▢Raining Dragons — End the reign of the dragons in Scorched Earth expedition map.
Nesting: a Pristine original artwork recovered on an art expedition satisfies Mint Condition as well, so run art expeditions rather than generic ones. Note the wording difference though - Mint Condition says "discover", Frame It says "display", so put the piece on show rather than leaving it in storage.
Complete a Dinosaur Bones exhibit.
Memento Mile opens with prehistory, so this is effectively a tutorial achievement. Run expeditions to the dig sites, bring back the bone pieces, and keep placing them on the same skeleton frame until the exhibit reads as complete. Partial skeletons still attract guests, so there is no reason to hold pieces back.
Complete chapter 1 of Memento Mile museum.
Chapter 1 is the opening objective set of the campaign's first museum. Follow the listed goals in the objectives panel and it pops on its own.
Discover a Pristine quality exhibit on an expedition.
Exhibit quality is rolled when the item is recovered, so this is mostly a numbers game: keep expeditions running back to back and one will eventually come home Pristine. Staff skill and expedition gear influence outcomes, so sending a better-equipped team is the sensible way to shorten the wait.
Hidden achievement — Steam does not show a description for this one.
Steam hides this achievement's description, and the name only hints at expeditions. We have not verified the exact trigger — check a community guide before chasing it, and do not assume it mirrors any of the other expedition achievements.
Cure an Illness or Injury by sending staff on an expedition to Remedial Springs.
Remedial Springs is an expedition destination rather than a room. When a staff member picks up an illness or injury, send that specific person on the Remedial Springs expedition and the trip itself is the cure.
Unlock 25 expedition points of interest (POIs).
POIs unlock as you push further along each expedition map, so this comes from breadth rather than repetition — spread trips across several maps instead of farming one route. It accumulates across the campaign, so it usually lands while you are working on other objectives.
Have a guest reach 2000 Buzz.
Buzz builds on a single guest as they see things worth being excited about, so the trick is keeping one visitor inside and entertained rather than boosting the museum average. A dense, high-quality exhibit floor with good tours and few reasons to leave is what runs the number up.
Complete 20 Workshop projects.
Workshop projects are queued jobs that take staff time, so the bottleneck is assistant availability, not money. Keep the workshop staffed and the queue full from early on and 20 accumulates over a campaign museum.
Catch a thief who has stolen an exhibit.
Thieves show up once your exhibits are valuable enough to be worth stealing. You need security staff or a security camera nearby to actually make the catch — an unguarded room lets the thief walk out and the achievement does not fire.
Earn $10,000 from Sponsored exhibits.
Sponsorship is an exhibit option rather than a building, and it pays out over time, so the earlier you sponsor your highest-traffic exhibits the sooner this clears. It is cumulative income, so there is no need to hit the figure in one go.
Install 3 perks on a single exhibit.
Perk slots are unlocked per exhibit, so pick a single showpiece and invest everything into it rather than spreading perks across the collection.
Have a level 3 (III) Custom Contraption, Science exhibit.
Custom Contraptions are built in the science theme and upgraded in stages, so this needs both the science museum unlocked and enough parts to reach the third tier on one machine. Concentrate upgrades on a single contraption.
Have a guest eaten by a Chomper Pit exhibit.
The Chomper Pit is a live plant exhibit, and it only gets a meal if a guest can reach it. Place it where footfall is heavy and keep the barriers and safety measures off the equation rather than fencing it away.
Reach 30 Enlightenment for any theme.
Enlightenment is the per-theme knowledge score your guests generate, so it rewards going deep on one theme rather than displaying a bit of everything. Pick whichever theme that museum is built around and improve those exhibits' information and analysis.
Display an exhibit from 6 different themes in one museum.
This is a late-campaign achievement by nature — you need six themes unlocked across different museums and then one museum with space to show one of each. Sandbox is a legitimate place to set it up if your campaign museums are already full.
Have 10 fish born at the museum.
Breeding needs compatible aquatic wildlife and tank conditions good enough for them to reproduce, so this is an aquarium-museum achievement. Keep several breeding-capable tanks running rather than waiting on one pair.
Earn 100 shiny stickers in the Sticker Book.
The Sticker Book tracks collection milestones across every theme, and shiny stickers are the upgraded versions, so 100 of them is a long-haul completion goal rather than something you set up. Expect this to be one of the last achievements you earn.
Reach Curator Class level 7.
Curator Class is the account-level progression that rises as you meet museum goals, so it tracks overall campaign progress. There is no shortcut — it comes from finishing chapters across multiple museums.
Have a member of staff be 5 different animal's favourite Expert.
Animals form a preference for the expert who looks after them, so the way to stack five on one person is to keep a single specialist assigned to the wildlife section instead of rotating staff between rooms.
Earn a gold trophy in an Exhibition Mode pop-up museum.
Exhibition Mode is a separate scored mode where a small pop-up museum is judged, so gold rewards a focused, high-quality build rather than a sprawling one. Bring your best-quality exhibits for the theme being scored.
Give a fish exhibit a custom name.
Select any fish exhibit, open its info panel and rename it. A one-click achievement once you have an aquarium.
Build a level 10 museum in Sandbox Mode.
Sandbox removes the money pressure, so level 10 is a matter of building enough rated content rather than managing a budget. This is the cheapest way to clear a level requirement if your campaign museums are still small.
Have a level 50 museum.
Level 50 is far beyond what the campaign chapters ask for, so plan on one museum you keep expanding long after its objectives are done. Sandbox is the usual home for this.
Complete chapter 5 of Memento Mile museum.
The end of the campaign's first museum. Chapter 5 objectives are listed in the objectives panel; work through them in order.
Complete chapter 5 of Passwater Cove museum.
Passwater Cove is the aquarium museum. Chapter 5 is its final objective set — follow the objectives panel.
Hidden achievement — Steam does not show a description for this one.
Steam hides this one's description. We have not verified the trigger, so we are not going to guess at it — check a community guide.
Complete chapter 5 of Pebberley Heights museum.
Pebberley Heights is the space museum. Chapter 5 is its final objective set.
Complete chapter 5 of Bungle Wasteland museum.
Bungle Wasteland is the science museum. Chapter 5 is its final objective set.
Complete chapter 5 of Wailon Lodge museum.
Wailon Lodge is the supernatural museum. Chapter 5 is its final objective set.
Train a member of staff as much as possible.
Training happens in the staff training room and each course takes real in-game time, so this is about committing one employee to back-to-back courses rather than spreading training across the roster. Cover their shift while they are in class.
Hidden achievement — Steam does not show a description for this one.
Steam hides the description and the name only tells you it involves the prehistory theme. Trigger not verified — see a community guide rather than assuming it matches another dinosaur achievement.
Hidden achievement — Steam does not show a description for this one.
Hidden description. The name matches the Scorched Earth expedition map that the Raining Dragons achievement also references, but we have not verified what this one actually asks for.
Produce 5 Wildlife offspring from a single parent.
All five have to come from the same parent, so keep that specific animal in good breeding conditions rather than expanding the herd. Space and habitat quality are what stop a breeding pair from continuing.
Create a 5-star tour.
Tour rating comes from what is on the route, so build the tour around your highest-quality, best-analysed exhibits and keep it short rather than dragging guests past filler. Improving an exhibit already on the route raises the rating retroactively.
Have 15 Wildlife POIs at Biodiversity Level 3.
Biodiversity is raised by repeated conservation trips to the same point of interest, so this is 15 separate locations each brought up to the top tier — a long expedition grind rather than a single action. Keep multiple conservation teams cycling.
Have 5 visiting children wear onesies of 5 different themes at once.
Onesies are gift-shop merchandise tied to themes, so you need shops stocking five different theme onesies and enough children in the building at the same moment. A busy day with several themed shops open is the setup.
Display a pristine piece of original Art.
Combines two conditions: the piece has to be original rather than a copy, and it has to come back at Pristine quality. Run art expeditions repeatedly — quality is rolled on recovery.
Employ 10 Robo staff (Janitors or Security Guards) in a single museum.
Robo staff are unlocked later and cost more than human equivalents, so this is a money achievement as much as a hiring one. They can be any mix of janitors and guards as long as ten are on the payroll in the same museum.
Reunite Twiggy Silverbottom's expedition team in a single Polterguest Room.
A supernatural-museum achievement: the team members are separate ghosts you have to recover and then house together in the same room. Keep a Polterguest Room with spare capacity so you can add each one as you find them.
Display 30 different Wildlife exhibits in a single museum.
Thirty different species, so duplicates do not count and you will need a large wildlife floor with the habitats each species needs. Plan the space before you start collecting.
Hidden achievement — Steam does not show a description for this one.
Hidden description. The other museum-named achievements in this list are chapter-5 completions, but we have not verified that this one follows the same pattern, so treat that as a guess rather than a guide.
Have a donation stand vandalised by a Defrosted Cave-Person.
The cave-person is a prehistory exhibit that thaws out and misbehaves, so you need one in the museum and a donation stand within its reach. Do not rush to re-freeze it.
Have a single Assistant pose for 5 portraits and/or statues.
The same assistant has to sit for all five, so pick one and keep selecting them each time a portrait or statue commission comes up.
End the reign of the dragons in Scorched Earth expedition map.
Scorched Earth is an expedition map with a dragon threat running through it; clearing that threat is a multi-trip objective on the map rather than a single expedition. Keep sending teams until the map's dragon storyline resolves.
Hidden achievement — Steam does not show a description for this one.
Steam hides the description. Trigger not verified — check a community guide.
Hidden achievement — Steam does not show a description for this one.
Hidden description. It most likely tracks the art museum the way the other named-museum achievements track theirs, but we have not verified it.
Display every Famous Art exhibit in a single museum.
Famous Art pieces are specific named works recovered from art expeditions, so this is a completion checklist — you need every one of them, and all in the same building. Keep art expeditions running and do not sell duplicates until you know which pieces you still need.
Hidden achievement — Steam does not show a description for this one.
Hidden description, and the name is too generic to infer anything useful. Trigger not verified — see a community guide.
Employ an Art Expert with an understanding of all 7 Emotions.
Emotion understanding is a trained skill on art experts, so this is one staff member run through every emotion course. Pick an expert early and keep them in training between shifts rather than starting over on a new hire.
